The 2022 Cayenne Turbo GT Is The Fastest And Quickest Porsche SUV Ever Made

Porsche has taken the wraps off their latest addition to the Cayenne Coupe line-up, introducing the new 2022 Cayenne Turbo GT.  The Turbo GT seems to have dropped the “Coupe” from its official moniker, but rest assured it’s a trim level exclusive to the Cayenne Coupe. It’s also the ranger topper for the model, slotting in above both the Turbo and the S E-Hybrid. The unveiling comes just a week ahead of the Cayenne Turbo GT’s first public outing, which will take place at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from the 8th–11th of July. The new car promises to be the fastest-ever production Cayenne and one of the fastest SUVs on offer. The Cayenne Turbo GT retains the four-liter twin-turbo V8 that powers the Turbo Coupe, but does so with a power boost of 90 PS (67 kW/90 HP), giving it a total of 640 PS (471 kW/631 hp). New Ferrari 296 GTB Brings Back V6 With A Turbocharged Hybrid Twist And 819-HP

The times they are a-chargin’. With an eye into the future, Ferrari has introduced its first six-cylinder engine on a road-going model since the seventies, the new 296 GTB. Designed to slot into the range above the F8 Tributo, Ferrari says it’s ‘the most fun to drive car in our product range’. Called the 296 GTB, the new car swaps the F8’s turbocharged eight-cylinder engine for a hybridised V6, making this Ferrari’s first six-cylinder sports car since the Dino 246 (which didn’t actually wear Ferrari badges). It will cost €269,000 (equivalent to $321,000/£231,000), and the first cars should be with European customers in early 2022, with U.S. cars arriving later that year. But if you’re worried about the loss of two cylinders resulting in a drop in performance, you can rest easy. The 2022 Honda Civic lineup is expanding as the company has introduced the new hatchback variant. The model unsurprisingly follows in the footsteps of the redesigned sedan and adopts a more mature, if boring for some, design. Of course, it’s not an exact copy as the hatchback is distinguished by an angular liftgate and a unique rear end with an integrated spoiler. The five-door model also features sleeker taillights, which are connected by a thin strip that follows the contours of the spoiler. The rest of the car largely echoes the sedan and there’s a familiar interior with a modern design. 2022 Porsche 911 Range Expands With New GTS Coupe, Convertible And Targa Models

One of the few certain things in this life beyond taxes and death is Porsche’s uncanny dedication to its family of 911 models. The more the merrier for Porsche which just a week after the presentation of the wingless 911 GT3 Touring has further expanded the fam with the return of the GTS moniker for the 992-generation series. Arriving in the U.S. early next year, the new 911 GTS series models are available in rear- and all-wheel drive coupe and convertible configurations as well as an all-wheel drive only Targa variant. Powering them all is a tweaked 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six making 473-hp (480 PS / 353 kW) and 420 lb-ft (570Nm), or a healthy 30-hp and 15 lb-ft (20 Nm) more than your run of the mill Carrera S. 2022 Infiniti QX60 Unveiled With Upscale Looks, Modern Tech, And Semi-Autonomous Tech

Ininfiti‘s QX60 midsize three-row crossover was getting long in the tooth, going nearly a decade without many significant updates. Back in September, we got a taste of what the refreshed crossover would look like with the QX60 Monograph concept. Now the production version is finally here, and it has a lot to offer. The 2022 QX60’s design has been changed to be more in line with Infiniti’s current offerings, and features styling nearly identical to the aforementioned QX60 Monograph. Infiniti calls it a combination of “powerful athleticism with harmony and simplicity”, and with its thin lighting elements, gaping grille, and muscular yet smooth fenders, we’d say that’s a fitting description. The fine details of the design are meant to invoke the spirit of Japan, with things like kimono folds in the “Digital Piano Key” headlights, origami in the grille mesh, and a rippling pond in the quilted leather interior. In keeping with tradition, Porsche has expanded the trim lineup of an already expanded model lineup with the introduction of a new member of the 911 GT3 sub-family, the 911 GT3 Touring. Whereas other companies may have just offered a rear-wing delete option, Porsche thinks it deserves its own nameplate. Described as a “subtler choice that retains every ounce of the excitement, the feel and the performance you expect”, the GT3 Touring is available as a no-cost equipment package. Beyond getting rid of the huge fixed rear wing in favor of a hidden, automatically extending rear spoiler, the only other differences over the regular GT3 concern some minor trim changes, including the aluminum window outlines, the Touring badges, and a color-coded front spoiler (instead of being blacked out). Inside, the GT3 Touring gets extended leather upholstery while the front of the dashboard and the upper side sections of the door trim panels have special surface embossing. Lexus is embarking on a major product push, which will see the brand launch 20 new or updated vehicles by 2025. That offensive is kicking into high gear with the unveiling of the 2022 NX. Redesigned from the ground up, the 2022 Lexus NX looks like a crossover-ified version of the IS sport sedan. It features an all-new front fascia with a revised spindle grille that has “tall U-shaped blocks” for a more three-dimensional appearance. The grille is flanked by vertical air intakes and redesigned headlights with integrated daytime running lights. This is a notable change as it means the NX no longer resembles a rolling Nike advertisement. Continuing down the sides, we can see evolutionary bodywork and a distinctive shoulder line. The rear end is also familiar, but it adopts full-width taillights and “Lexus” lettering that replaces the circular “L” emblem. 2022 Toyota Land Cruiser Loses Weight, Gains Twin-Turbo V6 And New GR Sport Variant

Toyota has unveiled the new 300 series Land Cruiser and says it had two development objectives for the new SUV. The first was to “inherit and evolve” its spirit of “reliability, durability, and off-road performance” while the second was to create a ride experience capable of tackling any type of road. But before you get too hyped about it, let us tell you that there are no current plans to offer the new 2022 Land Cruiser in the U.S., though they will probably get a similar Lexus LX version. Toyota says that it wanted to keep the vehicle’s body-on-frame structure because it “is the foundation that protects the Land Cruiser’s essence.” In order to pursue its mission of making the SUV capable of tackling any road without tiring the driver, though, it has adopted the new GA-F platform for the vehicle, which is based on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA).
