2021 Nissan Z Teased For The First Time, Shows 240Z Styling Influences

Image
Nissan released a new video to tease its upcoming new models, which included our first look at the much anticipated 2021 Z sports car. From what we can tell, the new Nissan Z confirms previous reports that suggested it will draw inspiration from the original 240Z for its styling, featuring cleaner lines than the 370Z but without looking too retro. The front end of the 2021 Z is getting a pair of LED headlights shaped in a circle as a tribute to the iconic 240Z while the front grille appears to be model-specific and not related to the V-Motion design language of the brand. The roofline slopes towards the back in typical Z fashion but the rear end appears to be less rounded compared to the 370Z and more like the classic Z models. The new model is reportedly going to be based on a revised version of the 370Z platform. Other than that, there isn’t much official information on Nissan’s new sports car. Power is expected to come from a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine, the same one as featured

Mercedes-Benz has spread out its mid-cycle facelift for the E-Class with the presentation of the 2021 sedan, wagon and All Terrain Wagon in March this year being followed today by the unveiling of the long teased Coupe and Convertible models in both regular and E53 AMG forms. It’s nothing groundbreaking with the revised two-door variants sporting minor exterior and interior styling tweaks, new technologies and updated powertrain offerings. Mercedes has a good thing going with the E-Class Coupe and Convertible, as admittedly, both are some of the most elegant looking proposals in the market. As such, there was no reason to ruin a successful formula with deep styling cuts. The most noticeable changes are the newly shaped grille and crispier light treatments on both ends, with the nose looking more upright this time around. There are four new paint colors too, named Cirrus Silver Metallic, Graphite Grey Metallic, Mojave Silver Metallic and designo Patagonia Red Metallic. The wheel line-up

The Toyota Venza is back after an absence of nearly five years. Essentially a renamed Harrier, the 2021 Venza will go on sale in the United States this summer and be offered exclusively with a hybrid powertrain. Speaking of the latter, the model is equipped with a new hybrid system that features a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, three electric motors and a lithium-ion battery pack that resides beneath the rear seats. It enables the crossover to have a combined output of 219 hp (163 kW / 222 PS) and a combined fuel economy rating of approximately 40 mpg. The crossover also comes standard with Toyota’s electric on-demand all-wheel drive system. It features a rear-mounted electric motor that can provide additional traction when needed. Toyota says the system works “seamlessly and transparently,” and can vary torque distribution depending on conditions. Designed, engineered and assembled in the United States, the 2021 Toyota Sienna adopts a bolder design that’s inline with the brand’s latest models, comes with a standard hybrid powertrain and Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 suite, and offers available all-wheel drive. Based on the TNGA-K platform, the fourth-gen Sienna features a more daring design that Toyota says is influenced by SUVs and Japan’s Shinkansen ‘bullet train’. The minivan sports strong and robust proportions thanks to the shoulder-themed body design, muscular wheel flares and boldly sculpted surfaces. The front end features high-set headlights that interact with the small upper grille via chrome trim and the bold lower grille via the creases at their center. At the back, the 2021 Toyota Sienna sports LED taillights with an integrated black canard that’s said to improve aerodynamic performance, as well as
