The 60th anniversary of the iconic 500 Jolly Spiaggina gave Fiat the perfect opportunity to churn out one more special edition 500, paying tribute to what is described as the first special series model of the original Cinquecento. The new Fiat 500 Spiaggina ’58 will be limited to 1,958 units as an additional tribute to the year of the model’s birth. The new special edition will be a convertible only and is finished in an exclusive Volare Blue livery with an ivory soft-top. Other distinctive features include a white belt line, a set of retro 16-inch alloy wheels, chromed door mirror housings, vintage Fiat logos, as well as a chromed “Spiaggina ‘58” badge in italic script. The cabin features matching Volare Blue details on the dashboard and a two-tone design for the seats, which feature a grey striped base and an ivory upper section. Fiat's Abarth performance division only ever has two models to work with at a time. Sometimes just one. So it stands to reason that it keeps rolling out new versions of the same, and that's just what it has in store for this year's Geneva Motor Show. Leading the charge is the new Abarth 595 Pista. Though you wouldn't know it from the name, one look is all it takes to tell you're looking at an upgraded version of the Fiat 500, joining the Scoprion marque's lineup alongside the standard 595, 595 Turismo, and 595 Competizione. The Pista version packs a 1.4-liter turbo four rated at 160 horsepower, propelling it to 62 in 7.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 134 mph – roughly the same specs as the US-spec Fiat 500 Abarth. What sets it apart is the rest of the spec sheet. Fiat is wishing a happy 60th birthday to the 500 by launching a limited edition of the iconic model at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Dubbed the Fiat 500 Sessantesimo, which is Italian for 'sixtieth', it comes as a convertible only and will go on sale in the EMEA region markets from March 9, with deliveries kicking off from July 4. Fiat will produce just 560 (500+60) units, and all of them feature a new dual-color paintwork named Dolcevita, with a three-layer white for the lower body, and pastel Ivory for the upper part. The city car is also adorned with grey and burgundy waistrail, chrome side mirror caps, dedicated '560' logo, exclusive badge on the pillars, numbered limited edition nameplate, and 16" alloys, with an unique pattern. At year's  Geneva Motor Show , Fiat is bringing us a more evolved version  of their new 500 , called the 'S'. What the 'S' trim level is meant to reflect is the sportier nature of the refreshed 500, which comes with new bumpers, integrated fog lights, special side skirts and spoiler, rear privacy glass, chrome exhaust tailpipe, black grained front air intakes, as well as a bold rear grille. Fiat is also making these Satin Graphite 15" & 16" diamond black alloys available on request, as the 500S new body colors certainly demand something more exclusive when it comes to wheels. Customers can order the 500S in either Metallic Azure or Alpine Green, working in contrast with the dark interiors enhanced by the black seats and roof lining.
