Hennessey Gives Chevy Silverado Extra Pair Of Wheels, Calls It The Goliath 6×6

Image
After turning the Ford Raptor into a six-wheeler, Hennessey Performance decided to do the same for the 2019/2020 Chevrolet Silverado. The result is this, the aptly named Goliath 6×6. The very first example of the new Hennessey truck, which was first previewed back in 2018, is based on the Trail Boss Z71 and comes with a complete 6×6 conversion featuring an all-new rear suspension system along with an extra axle. In addition, the whole truck gets an eight-inch suspension lift kit, a set of 20-inch Hennessey wheels wrapped in 37-inch BFG off-road tires, new bumpers, a roll bar, LED auxiliary lights and a custom, longer bed. Like all Hennessey’s products, it also comes with a three-year/36,000-mile warranty. “We are very excited to offer our new Goliath 6×6 alongside our Velociraptor 6×6 truck,” said company founder and CEO, John Hennessey.“These are very exclusive and unique vehicles that make a huge statement anywhere our clients go – whether its Rodeo drive or the sand dune...

Novitec N-Largo Ferrari 812 Superfast Is Wider, Faster, Stronger

Image
Earlier this year, Novitec released an aerodynamic kit for the Ferrari 812 Superfast complete with a lowered suspension and high-performance exhaust system for the car’s 6.5-liter V12 engine. Now it’s time for the German tuner to unleash its full range of upgrades aimed at Ferrari’s ultra-quick grand tourer. We’re talking about a widebody version that completely transforms the 812 Superfast’s looks, complemented by hi-tech forged wheels and a power upgrade. Under the label Novitec N-Largo, the elaborate bodywork modification for the Ferrari 812 Superfast gives it the looks of a street-legal race car. Made entirely of carbon, the widebody kit adds a width of 140 mm (5.5 inches) at the rear axle and 70 mm (2.75 inches) at the front axle of the Italian supercar, while also improving the its aerodynamic efficiency. The Novitec N-Largo widebody kit has been created in cooperation with designer Vittorio Strosek who has taken aerodynamic inspiration from Formula 1 for the fenders....

Hennessey Continues The Madness With A Silverado-Based Goliath 6×6

Image
A number of companies have developed six-wheeled vehicles following the success the Mercedes-AMG G63 6×6 and the latest is Hennessey Performance which has released details about their upcoming Goliath 6×6. Similar to the company’s VelociRaptor 6×6, the Goliath 6×6 is a six-wheeled pickup which is based on the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado Trail Boss. Besides the additional rear axle, the truck has been equipped with a custom bed, an eight inch (203 mm) lift kit and 20-inch wheels which are wrapped in 37-inch BFG off-road tires. Other upgrades include a roll bar and LED auxiliary lights. The model also has custom bumpers and plenty of Hennessey badging. Besides the styling changes, the truck has a 6.2-liter V8 engine that has been equipped with a 2.9-liter supercharger and a new stainless steel exhaust system. Hennessey says these additions will enable the mill to produce 705 hp (525 kW / 714 PS) and 675 lb-ft (914 Nm) torque – an increase of 285 hp (212 kW / 289 PS) and 29...

Behold The Lister LFP: The World’s Fastest SUV

Image
See this SUV? Looks like a Jaguar F-Pace. Well it is and it isn’t. What you’re actually looking are the first overall images of the Lister LFP. It’s based on the Jaguar, but promises performance that would put even the F-Pace SVR to shame. The Jag tuner has yet to release all the details, but the initial information looks promising. The LFP is slated to pack 670 horsepower (500 kW) and reach a top speed in excess of 200 mph (322 km/h). Those letters, incidentally, we’re guessing stand for Lister or Lightning F-Pace. As it is, the F-Pace SVR built by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations already packs a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 good for 542 horsepower (404 kW) and 501 lb-ft (680 Nm), helping it reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.1 seconds before topping out at 176 mph (283 km/h). Adding another 120 hp (nearly 100 kW) will only serve to make it even faster – and elevate the tall Jag’s top end beyond those boasted by the Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Bentayga. Fortunately ea...

Lister Teases Its Jaguar F-Pace, Claims It Will Be The Fastest SUV In The World

Image
Jaguar recently introduced the F-Pace SVR at the New York Auto Show but fans wanting something even more powerful can wait for Lister’s upcoming crossover. Little is known about the model but the company recently took to Facebook to tease what it is calling “the world’s fastest SUV.” The company declined to elaborate but the teaser image confirms it is based on the F-Pace. Given its high-performance aspirations, the model has been equipped with an aggressive front bumper and extended wheel arches. We can also see lightweight alloy wheels which are backed up by a high-performance braking system featuring gold calipers and drilled rotors. Other changes include auxiliary LED daytime running lights and a front fender vent with Lister lettering. The company is keeping details under wraps but Autocar reports Lister’s owner previously confirmed they are working on a high-performance version of the F-Pace SVR. At the time, he suggested the model could have as much as 670 hp (500 kW / ...

Mansory Brings The Funk To Geneva With McLarens, Astons, Bugattis, Ferraris And More

Image
The tuners are drawing nearly as much water at the Geneva Motor Show this year as the automakers producing the vehicles on which they’re based. And Mansory isn’t missing out on the action. The typically over-the-top customizer has shown up in the Swiss town with no fewer than nine enhanced high-end European vehicles, ranging from the Bentley Bentayga to the Bugatti Veyron – with a golf cart thrown in for good measure. Possibly the most extreme among them is the Mansory Stallone – the tuner’s take on the Ferrari 812 Superfast. The twelve-cylinder Prancing Horse is thoroughly transformed (for better or worse) with a full carbon-fiber body kit. Underneath the overwrought bodywork, the 6.5-liter V12 has been bumped up from 789 horsepower to 830, with torque rising from 718 Nm (or 530 lb-ft) to 740 Nm (546 lb-ft). Arguably at least as exotic is Mansory’s take on the McLaren 720S features a (relatively) less ostentatious aero kit, crafted from carbon fiber. The tuner has als...

Arden Shows Up In Geneva With Enhanced Jag F-Type SVR And Range Rover

Image
In the market for something British, but aren’t satisfied with the “standard” options offered by Jaguar Land Rover? Arden can help. The German tuner specializes in the UK’s finest, and has landed at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show with tempting enhancements for two of JLR’s top-of-the-line models. Pictured above is the Jaguar F-Type SVR, which already stands at the pinnacle of Jaguar’s lineup. Arden takes it further by fitting it with a comprehensive aero kit, including a new front apron, grille, side skirts, rear apron… even new door handles. 21-inch wheels stand to reduce unsprung mass, mounted to a suspension lowered by 30 millimeters (about 1.2 inches) with grippy Continental rubber to help channel all the power to the tarmac. And make no mistake about it: Arden AR 23 packs a lot of power. 703 metric horsepower, to be specific (up from the standard 575), with 644 lb-ft (873 Nm) of torque to back it up. The 5.0-liter supercharged V8 features new forged pistons, an upgraded su...

ABT’s 530PS Audi RS4-R Avant Is All The Super-Estate You’ll Ever Need

Image
The new generation Audi RS4 Avant has fallen into the hands of ABT Sportsline once more, only to come out even hotter than before. By fitting the 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with an engine control unit, and a high-performance exhaust system, the tuner’s engineers were able to lift the output to 530PS (523hp) and 690Nm (509lb-ft) of torque. This represents a 20PS (20hp) and 10Nm (7lb-ft) of torque increase over their previous RS4 project, and 80PS (79hp) and 90Nm (66lb-ft) of torque more than the stock car. Cornering performance is said to be enhanced by the sport stabilizers and height adjustable suspension springs. Those looking for a bit more will have to wait for the ‘shock absorber setup’, which is currently in development with KW. Alongside the 102mm carbon tailpipes, the super wagon also has a host of visual updates on the outside, such as the tweaked grille, bumpers, and rear diffuser. As a final touch, the Audi RS4 Avant rides on 21-inch wheels, shod i...
