Koenigsegg Reveals Gold-Trimmed Blue-Carbon Agera RS Naraya
Last week in Monterey, Koenigsegg delivered the first Agera RS homologated for the United States to its eagerly awaiting owner. And now it's about to do the same at the Salon Privé Concours d'Elegance with the model's first European delivery. But it's far from “just another” Koenigsegg. Dubbed “Naraya” by its owner (whose identity remains undisclosed), this particular Agera RS has been constructed and finished, both inside and out, in blue-tinted carbon fiber. But the most striking feature could be the gold trim. Koenigsegg flew in Italian craftsman Ettore “Blaster” Callegaro, who spent two full weeks – working 12-hour days, six days a week – applying the 18-carat gold leaf embellishments by hand. As if the result weren't blinged-out enough already, the Naraya also features a nameplate bedazzled with 155 artificial diamonds.
