Think that McLaren F1 GTR converted to road-legal status by Lanzante is the closest you can get to a racing car for the road? Well, Zenvo’s brand new hypercar that made its debut in Geneva is, the company says, the street legal version of its TSR track car, slotting between it and the TS1 GT. The TSR-S, in which the “S” stands for street, is powered by an in-house developed racing V8 with a 5.8-liter capacity and twin superchargers that put out 1177 bhp at a dizzying 8,500 rpm and more than 1100 Nm (810.7 lb-ft) of torque. With a dry weight of 1,495 kg (3,295 pounds), performance is, unsurprisingly, mind-blowing: the TSR-S accelerates from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 2.8 seconds, 0-200 km (0-124 mph) in 6.8 seconds, and has an electronically limited max speed of 325 km/h (202 mph). Following the introduction of the TS1 GT and TSR, Zenvo Automotive is now bringing its third product at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The exotic model, which was teased a month ago, will be named TSR-S, and will be presented in front of the media next Tuesday, on March 6 at 13:45 CET (7:45am EST). Nothing else is known about the new Zenvo TSR-S so far, but given its nomenclature, it can be one of two things: either a more evolved version of the already unveiled track-only TSR, or perhaps its street-legal version. Whatever the case may be, it will likely have in excess of 1,000 horsepower available on tap, thanks to its supercharged powertrain, as confirmed in the latest announcement. By comparison, the 5.8-liter V8 engine powering the TS1 GT is good for 1,118PS (1,102hp) and 1,139Nm (840lb-ft) of torque. Danish supercar maker Zenvo Automotive will be present at the Geneva Motor Show for the fifth consecutive time with a new exotic model. Teased in three official images that show an eye-catching shade of bright orange, contrasted by the bare carbon fiber parts, the new supercar follows on the success of the TS1 GT and TSR and is the brand’s third product. Zenvo Automotive's new Geneva-bound special edition hypercar has been confirmed to pack 1,163 HP (1,180 PS) and a whooping 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque. The Danish automaker teased us with an official image of the TS1 GT about a month ago, showing us a little bit of its carbon fiber front winglet, which features an inscription announcing a 10-year anniversary. The same image also revealed a blue body color as well as a set of matte gold Y-spoke wheels, with a black center cap and black lip. That being said, Zenvo has just released these official images of their 1,163 HP hypercar, while also revealing that its 7-speed Sports transmission features helical-cut gears in a 'Dog Box' configuration, offering lightning-fast gear changes (40 milliseconds).
