Fiat’s all-new and now, all-electric 2021 500e city car looks like it could be the world’s most stylish and environmentally-friendly urban vehicle when it launches later this summer. As seen from these images that surfaced on various websites and forums, including Autodata, we can tell that the new Fiat 500e boasts LED light units (front and rear), to go with a streamlined front fascia that kind of makes the city car look like a trendy Stormtrooper. Another noticeable change is the ‘500’ badge on the so-called grille (no need for one of those on an electric vehicle). The new inscription replaces the old Fiat badge found on the current 500. Inside, the new 500e features a fully overhauled dashboard design, with a new gauge cluster and a large, landscape-style infotainment display. Fiat is celebrating its 120th anniversary with the new Centoventi concept, an all-electric design study that shows how the next generation of the popular Panda city car will, largely, look like. The new Centoventi (“one hundred and twenty” in Italian) features an innovative interior than can be easily configured in many different layouts, while the dashboard has special slots that can receive a range of accessories for the ultimate customization experience. The electric powetrain of the concept comes with a swappable and upgradeable battery pack, with customers able to add up to three extra battery cells after the purchase of the vehicle in order to extend its driving range. Abarth has two debuts for this year’s Geneva Motor Show and chances are both will send your heart racing. The first is the Abarth 595 esseesse (the Italian pronunciation of “SS”) which is inspired by the legendary 1960s tuning kit and the later Abarth 500 edition launched in 2009. The second is the Abarth 124 Rally Tribute, a limited edition of just 124 cars that celebrate the 2018 FIA R-GT Cup victory. Starting with the Abarth 595 esseesse, it places itself at the top of Abarth’s 595 lineup as it’s equipped with the brand’s most powerful engine, the 1.4-liter turbo-four rated at 180 PS (178 hp). It features performance-enhancing standard equipment including an Akrapovic exhaust system, Brembo front braking system with perforated, ventilated front brake discs and oversized red brake calipers, BMC air cleaner, as well as Koni FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) rear suspension. Just like the Jeep Renegade earlier this year, the Fiat 500X has reached the point of a mid-cycle refresh, headlined by subtle styling tweaks, new engines, and updated tech in Europe. On the outside, the most obvious changes regard the light units, with the facelifted 500X gaining new standard LED DRLs and LED taillights, as well as optional full-LED headlights developed in partnership with Magneti Marelli. Fiat says those units shine 20 percent brighter than the Xenon technology of the previous model. A new city-oriented Urban trim level joins the Cross and City Cross, bringing all-new front and rear bumper designs. The Fiat 500X was introduced nearly four years ago and now we’re getting a purported glimpse of the facelifted variant. Posted by Autoblog.it, the teaser image reveals the updated model will have a modestly revised front fascia and new lighting units. The headlights are particularly eye-catching as they feature integrated LED lights which sort of resemble eye lids. Further below, there are restyled fog lights and circular LED lights that surround the turn signals. The teaser image isn’t terribly revealing, but previous spy photos have shown the model will have new bumpers and more stylish taillights. The changes are relatively minor and they echo the updates that were applied to the 2019 Jeep Renegade. Speaking of the Renegade, engine options will likely be shared between the two models. The 60th anniversary of the iconic 500 Jolly Spiaggina gave Fiat the perfect opportunity to churn out one more special edition 500, paying tribute to what is described as the first special series model of the original Cinquecento. The new Fiat 500 Spiaggina ’58 will be limited to 1,958 units as an additional tribute to the year of the model’s birth. The new special edition will be a convertible only and is finished in an exclusive Volare Blue livery with an ivory soft-top. Other distinctive features include a white belt line, a set of retro 16-inch alloy wheels, chromed door mirror housings, vintage Fiat logos, as well as a chromed “Spiaggina ‘58” badge in italic script. Fans are split on whether the Fiat 124 Spider is better looking than the Mazda Miata but the company is trying to settle the debate once and for all with the new 124 Spider S-Design. Set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month, the 124 Spider S-Design is a stylish roadster which has been outfitted with red stripes and unique 17-inch lightweight alloy wheels. The car also sports a small tricolor badge on the back and has an assortment of components – including the roll bar, mirror caps and A-pillar – decorated in polished steel. Besides the sporty styling touches, the model comes nicely equipped with leather seats and an automatic climate control system. Fiat is an Italian brand first and foremost, but it's a major player (and manufacturer) in the Latin American market, where it's just revealed the new Cronos sedan. Built on a new modular platform, the Cronos replaces the old Punto-based Linea sedan with a completely fresh form. Though clearly coming from the same automaker that builds the Tipo in Turkey, the Cronos is sized smaller to enter one of South America's biggest market segments. The manufacturer estimates that niche accounts for some 300,000 vehicles in Brazil and another 100,000 in neighboring Argentina, a bigger slice of which Fiat is clearly eager to take. Power comes from a choice of 1.3 or 1.8-liter engines (of otherwise unspecified specifications), and emphasis is said to have been placed on the vehicle's handling. Fiat has operated a few styling and technology updates to the Urban and Cross versions of the Fiat 500X, which have been taken into the 2018MY. The visual revisions are modest, to say the least, but in Fiat's defense, these aren’t facelifted models, but rather slightly tweaked ones, meant to increase their life span. The FCA-owned brand has added the Donatello Bronze and Alpi Matte Green colors to both versions of the 500X, which come straight from the S-Design models, and can be complemented by a range of personalization options that has been extended with the launch of specific packs. Fiat keeps celebrating their partnership with Riva by launching special versions of the 500, with the latest one being called the Abarth 695 Rivale. Described as being "the most sophisticated Abarth ever", it will become available either as a coupe or a cabriolet, with both of them featuring a two-tone Riva Sera Blue and Shark Grey paintwork. The new Abarth is also adorned with an aquamarine double stripe, satin chrome finish on the door handles and satin chrome molding on the tailgate, various aesthetic elements inspired by the Riva 56 Rivale yachts and '695 Rivale' logos, joined by Brembo Brakes, Koni suspension, and 17-inch Supersport alloy wheels.
