Chevy Unveils New Colorado ZR2 Bison Performance Truck
Chevrolet has unveiled an all-new performance version of their midsize Colorado pickup truck, dubbed the ZR2 Bison. The vehicle was built in collaboration with aftermarket firm American Expedition Vehicles (AEV). In order to offer buyers maximum levels of protection for key undercarriage elements while traversing rocky and jagged terrain, the Bison comes equipped with five skid plates covering the engine oil pan, fuel tank, transfer case and front and rear differentials. AEV designed both the skid plates as well as the front and rear bumpers out of durable hot-stamped Boron steel.
