The Porsche Panamera lineup is growing as the company has taken the wraps off the 2019 Panamera GTS. Starting under the hood, the GTS has a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 453 hp (338 kW / 460 PS) and 457 lb-ft (620 Nm) of torque – 19 hp (15 kW / 20 PS) and 73 lb-ft (100 Nm) more than its predecessor. The engine is connected to an eight-speed PDK transmission and an all-wheel drive system which enables the Panamera GTS and Panamera GTS Sport Turismo to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.1 seconds. Given enough room, the model will eventually hit a top speed of up to 181 mph (292 km/h). Of course, the performance changes extend beyond the engine compartment as the Panamera GTS comes standard with an adaptive air suspension and a 10mm reduced ride height. Porsche has introduced the new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo. Set to be sold alongside the hatchback variant, the range-topping plug-in hybrid wagon has a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 550 PS (404 kW). It is backed up by a plug-in hybrid powertrain that features a 14.1 kWh lithium-ion battery and an electric motor that develops 136 PS (100 kW). This gives the wagon a combined output of 680 PS (500 kW) and 850 Nm (626 lb-ft) of torque. Thanks to all-wheel drive and its impressive output, the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo can accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.4 seconds before hitting a top speed of 310 km/h (192 mph). More importantly, the model averages 3.0 L/100 km (78.4 mpg US / 94.1 mpg UK) and can travel up to 49 km (30.4 miles) on electricity alone. After a sneaky teaser image, TopCar has revealed its upgrade package for the second-generation Porsche Panamera and as we expected, it is rather extreme. Dubbed the Panamera Stingray GTR Edition, the exterior of the German super sedan is now dominated by a custom bodykit that uses a plethora of carbon fiber components to utterly transform the persona of the car. The changes start at the front with a new bumper, custom air intakes, redesigned daytime running lights and a distinctive hood finished in exposed carbon. The mods then continue to the side skirts, with new trimmings on the doors for added aggressiveness. Completing the exterior touches are a selection of different wheels from HRE, ADV.1 and 1221, as well as a new rear bumper, wing and diffuser. If customers so wish, TopCar can also transform the interior of the second-gen Panamera with the finest materials, including crocodile leather, carbon fiber, wood and even 24 karat gold elements. There are many good things you could say about the Porsche Panamera. It's widely regarded as one of the best-driving four-doors on the market, and with powertrain options ranging all the way up to 670 horsepower, it's no slouch.  It's relatively understated, though, in Zuffenhausen's signature style. But Mansory has thrown that right out the window with the model it's brought to Geneva this year. Decked out in red chrome with yellow accents, more vents than an air-conditioner factory, and more carbon than a coal-burning power plant, Mansory's take on the four-door Porsche looks like a hot dog on an acid trip. And not in a good way. It rides on 22-inch alloys, and with a remapped ECU, new air filter, and custom exhaust, it's said to increase output by 34 hp and 30 lb-ft of torque. As promised, the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo has debuted ahead of the upcoming Geneva Motor Show 2017. Sticking true to the 2012 concept, it adds some extra practicality and style to the second-generation Panamera family. The style differences between the Sport Turismo and regular, run-of-the-mill Panamera models are immediately noticeable. From the B-pillar back, the roofline of the Sport Turismo stretches much further back than in the sedan and at a less acute rake. This allows for increased headroom for rear seat passengers as well as Shooting Brake-style lines that allows for greater luggage space, 520 liters in fact. That figure increases to 1,390 liters with the rear seats folded down. As with the Panamera five-door, the Sport Turismo still measures 5,049 mm in length and 1,937 mm in width but is 5 mm higher. With a combined output of 671hp (680PS) from its turbocharged V8 and electric motor, Porsche’s new wild Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is the most powerful model in the brand’s range right now, second only to the discontinued 918 Spyder that has 875hp. Not impressed yet? How about a 0-100km/h run in blazing 3.4 seconds (0-60mph in 3.2 sec) and a top speed of 310km/h (193mph). To put that into perspective, it almost matches the latest 493hp (500PS) 911 GT3 RS that completes the sprint in 3.3 seconds and has the same exact top speed. True, it lags the pure-electric Tesla Model S P100D’s 0-60mph (96km/h) time of 2.28 seconds, but it puts it right up there with the very best. Sitting at the top of the Panamera range, the Turbo S E-Hybrid ditches the V6 powertrain of Porsche’s other hybrid, the 456hp (462PS) 4 E-Hybrid, for the regular Turbo S’ 542hp (550PS) 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that is paired to a 134hp (136PS) electric motor.
