Dodge has unveiled the 2020 Charger Scat Pack and SRT Hellcat Widebody. Available on the Scat Pack and standard on the Hellcat, the Widebody package features fender flares that extend the width of the body by 3.5 inches (89 mm). Thanks to the wider stance, the models are now fitted with 20- by 11-inch wheels that are wrapped in 305/35ZR20 tires. Other highlights include a uniquely tuned suspension with three-mode adaptive damping from Bilstein. The cars have also been equipped with a high-performance braking system that features six-piston Brembo front calipers and two-piece front rotors. The Charger Scat Pack Widebody is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine that produces 485 hp (362 kW / 492 PS). It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which sends power to the rear wheels. The four-year old Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat will live on, as FCA has prepped a number of updates for the 2019MY. In a couple of teasers released today, the North American company has partially revealing the biggest change: a pair of hood scoops, inspired by past models. The new parts, described as a “dual-snorkel hood” by FCA, replaces the single piece found on today’s models. Moreover, it’s a throwback to the “distinctive Mopar design themes from some of its most famous muscle cars”, says the automaker, referring to some vehicles made in the mid-60s and early-70s, although we do remember some Pontiacs offered with dual hood scoops. With the new elements in place, the 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat doesn’t only look “more sinister”, but it gets “maximum air intake to the supercharged powerplant”, claims FCA. Dodge has kept our breaths properly baited for months now with incremental glimpses at its forthcoming flagship muscle car, and we've taken a few unauthorized peeks at it along the way. But here it is, at long last: our first official look at the new Demon. Set to be finally revealed in full this week at the New York Auto Show, the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon may prove to be the most powerful production car ever offered. And as you can see, it certainly looks the part, with wider wheel arches, more aggressive aero, and a hood scoop that looks like it could swallow a smaller car whole. Dodge has just unveiled its fastest ever full-size SUV with the launch of the 2018  Dodge Durango  SRT ahead of the Chicago Auto Show. Although the model doesn’t feature the brand’s 707 hp  Hellcat  engine, it does utilize a 475 hp, 392 cubic-inch Hemi V8 delivering 475 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. That provides enough grunt to propel the Durango SRT from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in a brisk 4.4 seconds and down the quarter mile in just 12.9 seconds. Beyond its V8, the SUV includes a number of impressive features. For starters, it includes a new cold-air intake which helps feed the engine with cool air no matter the driving scenario. With 707 horsepower on tap, the  Challenger SRT Hellcat  is more than enough machine for most. But Dodge isn't about to stop there. At the upcoming New York Auto Show, the automaker will present an even more hardcore muscle car. Details are scarce at this early stage, but the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon promises to eclipse the existing Hellcat – and just about everything else on the road – when it comes to bragging rights, at least, and straight-line speed. “Most cars attempt to be everything to everybody. Then there are the rare few that revel in a single objective, rendering them totally irresistible to a subculture," said FCA's Tim Kuniskis. Aside from the Viper turning 25, this also happens to be its  final year of production , making Dodge's announcement somewhat bittersweet. The limited-edition models come with exclusive content to commemorate the final year of production, as well as a serialized instrument panel badge that can also be customized with the client's name. Order books open on June 24th as Viper fans and enthusiasts with sufficient funds will be able to order their very own special snake in one of five special edition configurations. In no particular order, we'll start with the  Viper 1:28 Edition ACR  which pays tribute to the current model's single lap record at Laguna Seca. It was set back in October 2015 by Randy Pobst, behind the wheel of a 2016 Viper ACR.
