Koenigsegg To Reveal Even More Hardcore Hypercar At Geneva 2019
The Geneva Motor Show has just wrapped up its press days, but already some are starting to look to next season. That includes Koenigsegg, which came to the show this year with two Regeras and a restored CCX – models we’ve already seen, but never seem to grow tired of seeing again. Next year, though, Christian von Koenigsegg and company will have something new to showcase. And we already have early indications that it’ll be even more extreme. “We have a replacement car coming after the Agera RS,” Koenigsegg told Top Gear. “The Regera is, let’s say, the best car we can build for ‘normal road use’. It’s a kind of GT car. The replacement for the Agera, Agera RS and One:1 is not a hyper-GT. It’s more race-like. It’s even more capable than the Agera RS.” Sounds promising, though we’re not sure at this point whether the new car will be another version of the Agera, or an altogether new model.
