2019 BMW Z4 Roadster Unveiled, M40i Variant Packs 335 HP
Following an extraordinary number of leaks, BMW has finally taken the wraps off the all-new Z4. Shown in M40i guise, the all-new roadster follows in the footsteps of last year’s concept and features a wide twin kidney grille with mesh inserts. Designers also gave the car large air intakes, sweptback headlights and a distinctive hood. Moving further back, we can see a rakish windscreen and large front fender vents. Of course, one of the biggest changes is the return of the soft top which replaces the previous retractable hard top. At the rear, the M40i has a ventilated rear bumper which resides above a dual exhaust system. The car also has slender taillights and a trunk with an integrated rear spoiler. BMW didn’t say much about the interior, but we can see a digital instrument and a new three-spoke steering wheel.
