First teased at the Geneva Motor Show last month, McLaren’s upcoming “Grand Tourer” model returns in the most revealing official shots yet. Mind you, it’s still completely covered in camouflage, but it has dropped the shape-changing, additional body panels previously used to hide its silhouette. As a result, we can admire for the first time the car’s lines — and there’s a lot to admire as you can see. The as-yet-unnamed McLaren “Grand Tourer” has all it takes to become the brand’s best-looking car. The first shot of the front end reveals sleek new headlights that are still inspired by the McLaren logo, yet are no longer recessed as with most recent cars from Woking. It is definitely an elegant, flowing design befitting a grand tourer but still recognizable as a McLaren. We knew McLaren was bringing the Speedtail, 720S Spider, and 600LT Spider to the Geneva Motor Show, but now the automaker has surprised everyone by announcing an all-new model. Only referred to as the ‘McLaren of Grand Tourers’, it will be built separately from the marque’s existing Sports Series, Super Series, and Ultimate Series range of vehicles. Chief executive Mike Flewitt said that McLaren was encouraged to build this all-new model after receiving feedback from customers of the existing McLaren 570GT. “It will be a car that combines competition levels of performance with continent-crossing capability, wrapped in a beautiful lightweight body. David Brown Automotive (DBA) is ready for take-off with their third project, which follows hot on the heels of the Speedback GT and Mini Remastered. Teased for the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, the vehicle is being referred to as the company’s “vision of a high-performance classic Grand Tourer”. Mitsubishi released the first teaser image of the Ground Tourer SUV Concept, set to make its debut this fall in Paris. The company didn’t release any details about their latest concept, which is part of their planned SUV offensive, after the  Concept XR PHEV II  and eX electric SUV concept.  The new Ground Tourer will preview a mid-sized production SUV with a plug-in hybrid powertrain to replace the aging Outlander, carrying over Mitsubishi’s ‘Dynamic Shield’ design philosophy . The revealed teaser image reveals a very dynamic profile with a two-tone bodywork and a front end that’s likely to feature big air intakes on the bumper.
