Lamborghini Makes Five Special Edition Aventador S Roadsters For Japan

Lamborghini has celebrated its 50th anniversary in Japan by staging the Asian debut of the Aventador S Roadster in the country and introducing a new limited edition model. Called the "Aventador S Roadster 50th Anniversary Japan," the special edition will pay tribute to the five natural elements of Japanese culture including earth, wind, fire, sky, and water. Production will be limited to five units and each one is billed as a one-off model as it draws inspiration from one of the aforementioned elements. The water version was displayed during Lamborghini Day in Tokyo and features a unique paint job that required ten people and 170 hours of labor to complete. The end result is pretty impressive as the black and blue combination blends perfectly with the exposed carbon fiber accents on the windscreen frame and hard top. 2018 Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster Now With 730HP And Rear-Wheel Steering

Ever since Lamborghini presented the Aventador S Coupe last year, fans and enthusiasts alike have been wondering when the Roadster will receive the same upgrades. But not anymore, as the Raging Bull has officially pulled the cover off the new Aventador S Roadster, ahead of its world premiere that takes place at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, next week. It features the same visual and technical upgrades as its fixed roof sibling, bar the open-air driving experience, which is highlighted by the removable hardtop roof panels that weigh less than 6kg (13lbs). These are said to be convexly molded to ensure maximum for the occupants, and can be quickly removed and stored in the front trunk. Additionally, the roof panels can be finished either in matte black carbon fiber, at no extra cost, or high gloss black, shiny visible carbon fiber, and further Ad Personam possibilities, as an option.
