2020 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro Is Ready To Conquer Arduous Terrains

Being in the market for a decade now, the second generation Sequoia is the SUV turned into the ‘TRD Pro beast’ that Toyota teased a couple of days ago. Presented online just hours before its 2019 Chicago Auto Show debut, it has a beefier suspension, with specially-tuned Fox shock absorbers that should come in handy off the beaten path. The Sequoia TRD Pro also has a reworked grille, LED headlights and fog lamps, specific front skid plate and roof rack, 18-inch BBS wheels, covered in 275/65 tires, and is available with a TRD cat-back exhaust system. Clients will get to choose between four colors: an exclusive Army Green, Super White, Midnight Black Metallic and Magnetic Gray Metallic. The interior of the full-size SUV sports black leather-trimmed seats with red contrast stitching, ‘TRD Pro’ accents and all-weather floor mats. 2019 Toyota TRD Pro Trucks Officially Revealed With New Off-Road Suspension

Toyota has officially revealed the updated range of its 2019 TRD Pro lineup, including the 4Runner, Tundra and Tacoma models. For the MY2019, all three members of the TRD Pro family return featuring all-new and bespoke 2.5-inch Fox Internal Bypass shocks, tuned specifically for each model. The new off-road Fox shock absorbers feature an aluminum body and 46mm pistons but instead of having an external bypass tube to fine-tune damping pressure, they incorporate multiple bypass zones inside of the shock. According to Toyota, the new shocks offer “a cushioned, plush ride during typical operation but get progressively stiffer through the shock stroke to provide excellent bottoming resistance”. Front shocks are paired with specially-tuned TRD springs to optimize ride comfort and provide the necessary ground clearance.
