Shortly after posting a number of teaser images on Twitter, Henrik Fisker has released a picture showing his newest creation, the EMotion, in full. The exterior design of the electric sedan is dramatically different and more refined than the vehicle depicted in renderings released last year. It features relatively short and rear overhangs and has a nose that angles down aggressively to the road. Elsewhere, the vehicle pictured rolls on a set of silver wheels, with doors and hidden door handles that seamlessly flow with the profile and shape of the model. Beyond its eye-catching design, Fisker is making some serious claims about its abilities and the technology found within. This includes the implementation of a hybrid supercapacitor, a quick-charge function that can offer 100 miles of range in just 9 minutes and all the hardware required for full autonomy. Back in April, Henrik Fisker started teasing the production-ready EMotion, a car he plans to show off to the world on August 17th. Now though, we finally have more to show you. Compared to these renderings from last year, the actual car looks a lot less Hot Wheels and more like something that could give the Tesla Model S a run for its money, with a claimed 400 miles (643 km) of range on a single charge. Unlike the Model S, which is in Fisker's cross hairs according to Electrek, the EMotion will utilize a hybrid supercapacitor, which has never been done on electric vehicles before. Other features should include the quick-charge function (up to 100 miles of range in just 9 min), plus the confirmed LIDAR system integrated in the front fascia's aluminum centerpiece, "panther eyes" headlight graphics and cameras for side mirrors with full 360-degree sensing. Showing once again that you can't keep a good man down, Henrik Fisker officially put his name back in the game just a couple of months ago with the relaunch of  Fisker Inc . The reborn startup announced its intention to launch a new electric vehicle called the  EMotion , revealing some key details and even showing us what the design will look like from multiple angles. What we didn't know until now was what the vehicle would look like from behind, but his company has now plugged that gap by releasing this additional image. Though the design is entirely different from the Karma that came before until his last venture, the rear end of the forthcoming EMotion looks distinctly like Fisker's work – with wide shoulders and slim taillights. The overall picture painted by the images released so far, we dare say, bears a certain familial resemblance to other designs that Fisker has worked on – including the BMW Z8, Aston Martin DB9,  Galpin Rocket , and  VLF Force 1 V10 . ...

Fisker has dropped the first official details and images of its all-new electric sedan dubbed the EMotion. Henrik Fisker's reborn company has come up with an  edgy design  for its first model, aided by a newly developed electric powertrain, which has allowed the company to push the interior compartment forward, thus reducing front and rear overhangs without compromising interior space. The automaker also says that the EMotion will be built around a frame made from carbon fiber and aluminum, which, if true, would allow the sedan to shed huge amounts of weight, something particularly important for notoriously heavy electric vehicles.  The bold claims don't stop there.  Fisker  says the car's batteries will use lightweight graphene in their construction and be built by a joint venture between Fisker and Nanotech Energy Inc.
