Audi Reveals Updated 2020 A5 Family, Including Diesel-Only S5 For Europe

Audi has revealed the facelifted 2020 A5 model family, which includes the Coupe, the Cabriolet and the four-door Sportback bodystyles, together with the also refreshed S5 models. As expected, the facelift focuses on the same areas with the 2020 A4, including a revised Singleframe front grille that now sits flatter and a bit wider and features ventilation slits to remind you of the iconic Audi Sport Quattro. The bumper is also redesigned with larger air intakes and a new lower blade while the lights front and rear received a new signature. The rear end gets a new diffuser insert backed from a set of trapezoidal taillpipes, making the back of the car look wider. All models will come with LED headlights as standard, with Audi offering Matrix LED headlights and LED rear lights with dynamic turn signals as an option. Audi A5 Sportback G-tron Brings CNG Power To Wörthersee

The Wörthersee gathering continues as Audi has taken the wraps off a customized A5 Sportback g-tron. Dressed in dark grey paint, the one-off model has blue accents in the headlights and stylish two-tone alloy wheels which are backed up by a braking system with blue calipers. Designers also installed a blue honeycomb rear wrap, a black rear spoiler, and tinted rear lighting units. Audi didn't have much to say about the interior but the picture shows the car has been equipped with leather and Alcantara seats, blue contrast stitching, and carbon fiber trim. The A5 Sportback g-tron was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year and it will become the brand's third model which can run on compressed natural gas. In this case, the car is powered by a 2.0-liter TSFI engine which produces 170 PS (167 hp) and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft) of torque. 2018 Audi A5/S5 Cabriolet Ready For North American Premiere In Detroit

Two months after the new A5 and S5 Cabriolet were launched in Europe, Audi of America has confirmed that they will make their North American debut in the upcoming  Detroit Auto Show .  Practically unchanged  from their overseas counterparts , the two cars come with a fully electrically-operated soft top that takes 15 seconds to open or close at speeds up to 31 mph (50 km/h).  Inside, there's seating for four and a long list of equipment such as Audi Virtual Cockpit, MMI navigation plus, smartphone interface, in-Car Audi connect infotainment, 4G LTE connectivity and Bang & Olufsen premium sound system. Additionally, the full suite of advanced driver assist features is also available, which includes the standard Audi Pre Sense, adaptive cruise control and jam assist systems. Audi's New 2017 A5 & S5 Sportback Family Revealed Before Paris Debut

The veils has been lifted off the brand new 2017 Audi A5 Sportback and S5 Sportback ahead of the model's launch at the Paris Auto Show next month. The styling of the new A5 Sportback range closely mimics that of the Coupe, updated and  revealed just a few months ago . As such, the front end of the car is dominated by the German marque's trademark hexagonal grille and complemented with a redesigned bumper incorporating a different lower lip and fog light clusters.  Compared to the outgoing model, the headlights have also been thoroughly revised and now incorporate a slight curve on the upper edge. Other styling changes over the current model include a reshaped hood with prominent creases, tweaked styling down the vehicle's sides as well as a refreshed rear end with different taillights. Underpinning the new A5 Sportback range is the same MLB platform as the  Coupe . However, the wheelbase has been lengthened from 2,764 mm to 2,824 mm, increasing legroom at the back....
