New Rimac Nevera Takes Electric Supercars By Storm With 1,914HP, 0-62mph In 1.85 sec And 340 Miles Range

Rimac Automobili has revealed the final production version of the C_Two electric hypercar, which is now renamed Nevera and features a number of upgrades over the original 2018 concept. The new Nevera fittingly bears a Croatian name given by the locals to an unexpected and powerful Mediterranean storm. Compared to the concept, the new Rimac Nevera features a wide range of changes to its bodywork and aero agenda, delivering a 34 percent improvement in aerodynamic efficiency. Rimac has altered things like the profile of the bonnet, the shape of the pillars, and the design of the diffusers, splitters, and radiators, in order to improve airflow and downforce. In addition, the redesigned inlets and cooling channels have increased the cooling efficiency by 30 percent of both the brake and powertrain systems at low speeds, and by 7 percent at high speeds. Aston Martin Valkyrie Confirmed To Have 1,160 HP, 900 Nm Of Torque

Aston Martin has finally confirmed powertrain specifications for its upcoming Valkyrie hypercar, which will produce a combined 1,160 HP (1,176 PS) at 10,500 rpm and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque at 6,000 rpm, even more than what was previously reported. Its Rimac-sourced battery electric system alone is responsible for an additional 160 HP (162 PS) and 280 Nm (206 lb-ft), while the naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 delivers a full 1,000 HP (1,013 PS) and 740 Nm (545 lb-ft) of torque – that’s 153.8 HP per liter. Porsche Buys 10 Percent Of Rimac To Help With Future Electric Vehicles

The German automaker has taken a ten-percent stake in Rimac – the Croatian startup known for its electric hypercars like the Concept_One and the C_Two. It just revealed the latter, nearly a decade after the former, at the Geneva Motor Show this past March, packing nearly 2,000 horsepower’s worth of electric propulsion, a 1.85-second 0-60 time, and a top speed quoted at 256 mph (412 km/h). As impressive as Porsche’s electrified sports cars already are, those figures far eclipse what even the groundbreaking 918 Spyder was capable of. Rimac C_Two Hypercar Promises To Make You Feel Sick With A 0-60 In 1.85 Seconds

Rimac Automobili revealed its second electric hypercar at the Geneva Motor Show, and its name is C_Two. As promised by the Croatian manufacturer, the C_Two is significantly more powerful than its predecessor as it offers a combined 1,888hp (1,914PS) and 1696lb-ft (2,300Nm) of torque from its electric motors. The result of all this insane power is a 0-60mph in a breathtaking 1.85 seconds, a 0-100mph in 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 258mph (412km/h). We guess the fact that Tesla announced a 0-60 time of 1.9 seconds for the upcoming Roadster has something to do about that 1.85-second figure. As with the Concept One, each wheel of the C_Two is powered by its own motor, with Rimac using a set of single-speed gearboxes on the front and a set of two-speed gearboxes at the rear. Rimac’s Next Hypercar Teased With Soaring Rear Wing

Rimac has published a short teaser video of its Geneva-bound hypercar, offering a glimpse at the vehicle’s exterior design. From the front, the new car bears a striking resemblance to the existing Concept_One but looks even more purposeful with the adoption of slightly slimmer headlights, a much larger front splitter, and air vents on the hood. While the front looks familiar, the rear appears to be a significant departure from the Concept_One with redesigned taillights immediately noticeable. Additionally, the video reveals that the hypercar will have a rear wing which deploys at speed. It may also double as an air brake. Our sources suggest that the hypercar will come equipped with a large 120 kWh battery pack, providing more juice than the Concept_One and allowing for a greater range. Rimac Teases Second Electric Hypercar Ahead Of Geneva Debut

Rimac Automobili dropped the first teaser of its next hypercar, confirming at the same time a debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The dark image outlines the silhouette and the proportions of the new electric hypercar, which appears to adopt a more aggressive styling approach, compared to the Concept One. Internally codenamed “Concept Two”, the new electric hypercar will not only be more powerful and faster than the original $1 million Rimac, but also more expensive too. The company posted the teaser image on its social media with the caption "Soon to be revealed: The all-new Rimac hypercar, a true game changer. Premieres at Geneva 2018. Stay tuned." The  Rimac Concept_One  has an evil twin that's just stepped from the shadows at the  Geneva Motor Show , but instead of sporting a sinister Van Dyke beard and a menacing glare to denote  the devilish difference , this doppelganger goes all-in on an aerodynamics package to put its perverse point across. The deviations are more than just skin-deep too. Unseen like an ulterior motive, the Rimac Concept_S turns up the wick of an already diabolically powerful electric drivetrain, adding enough muscle to turn this all-wheel-drive  supercar  into a megawatt machine. Production Rimac Concept_One unveiled with 1072 hp

Rimac has announced plans to unveil the production version of the Concept_One at the Geneva Motor Show. Looking virtually identical to the concept that debuted at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, the production model has a slender grille, a bulging hood, and a rakish windscreen.  The car also features a carbon fiber rear diffuser, distinctive taillights, and 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels with Pirelli P Zero tires. Rimac didn't have much to say about the interior but noted the cabin doesn't have any plastic parts so everything the driver touches is aluminum, carbon fiber, or Alcantara upholstery. Drivers will also find a digital instrument cluster and a bespoke infotainment system with 4G connectivity.
