This 2019 Hyundai Veloster Hot Rod Will Star In Marvel's 'Ant-Man And The Wasp'

No, it's not a joke. The pictured modified version of the second-generation Hyundai Veloster will be introduced to the big screen later this year, as part of a global marketing initiative. According to the Korean brand, the 2019 Veloster in hot rod attire will be featured in "a hot pursuit" scene of Marvel's 'Ant-Man and the Wasp, which highlights its "capabilities in serving as the ultimate escape vehicle", along with its "speed and handling". Finished in purple and adorned with yellow and orange flames, the tuned Veloster that would feel right at home at SEMA has a few other mods that make it instantly noticeable, such as the hood scoop, side exhaust pipes, large rear wing, and chunky tires. 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt Unveiled With 475HP And Signature Exhaust

The rumors were true as Ford presented a new generation of its lauded Mustang Bullitt based on the S-550 at the Detroit auto show on Sunday. Ford fed this 2019 special-edition Mustang a manual transmission, where the gear shifter features a white cue ball knob as a nod to the car that lit up our movie screens 50 years ago. The new Bullitt is also wearing everything from the Mustang GT Premium and Performance Package, while its upgraded 5.0-liter V8 engine pushes down 475 HP and 420 lb-ft (570 Nm) of torque, allowing for a top speed of 163 mph (263 km/h). Standard equipment includes the leather steering wheel, unique green accent stitching and a 12" all-digital LCD instrument cluster (identical to the one in the 2018 Mustang), although the Bullitt comes with a unique welcome screen that features an image of the car instead of the pony logo. Disney & Pixar Bringing Animated Excitement To 2017 NAIAS For 'Cars 3'

This year's Detroit Auto Show will feature Disney & Pixar giving visitors an early look at their upcoming summer film  Cars 3  while debuting a life-size version of one of the film's stars. For their the January 8 press conference at NAIAS,  Pixar  will also create a special Cars 3-themed display on the show floor for the thousands of journalists present as well as all the other visitors. "Having Pixar choose to join NAIAS and share an early sneak peek at their next film – from one of the most famous movie franchises in the studio’s storied history – is proof that Detroit is home to all facets of automotive, whether it’s fantasy or real-life,"  said 2017 NAIAS Chairman, Sam Slaughter.
