2019 Nissan Maxima Gets A Facelift

The facelifted 2019 Nissan Maxima has just premiered at the ongoing Los Angeles Auto Show 2018 and while it doesn’t look radically different to the 2018 model, there are a number of noteworthy changes present. Looking at the refreshed Maxima from the front, you’ll no doubt realize that there is a different bumper that seamlessly incorporates a pair of small foglights in blacked-out faux air intakes. Also found up front are refreshed headlights with LEDs and a more complex inner design. The design alterations aren’t limited to the front as viewed from the rear, a serious of alterations catch the eye, including updated taillights. Additionally, the new rear fascia incorporates integrated quad-tip tailpipes as well as a subtle spoiler in Maxima SR grade. Updated 2019 Nissan Maxima To Debut At LA Auto Show

Nissan will reveal the updated for 2019 Maxima at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show, boasting a refreshed exterior look and more safety kit. The company didn’t go into specifics with its announcement, giving us just one image of the 2019 Maxima and saying that it will be available with Nissan Safety Shield 360 safety suite. The latter includes six safety and driver-assist systems. From the single image we can see that the updated Nissan Maxima is getting a redesigned front bumper with different fog lights, as well as a refreshed headlight design that incorporates LEDs. Expect similar revisions at the rear, along with the obligatory new wheel designs. All current Maxima models come equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 that kicks out 300hp and 261lb-ft of peak torque and is bolted to an Xtronic CVT gearbox, which is the only transmission option. 2018 Nissan Maxima Revealed With Minor Updates, Higher Prices

Nissan has taken the wraps off the 2018 Maxima. Since the car was redesigned for the 2016 model year, the latest updates are relatively minor and include a modestly revised V-motion grille with new black accents. The Maxima's color palette has also been updated and now includes a Carnelian Red option. Interior changes are minimal but include an updated NissanConnect infotainment system that now comes standard with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. SL, SR and Platinum variants also gain two new USB charging ports for rear seat passengers. Pricing starts at $33,020 for the entry-level Maxima S which is an increase of $410. The Maxima SV climbs $430 to $35,020 while the Maxima SL jumps $350 to $37,440. Likewise, the Maxima SR costs $38,280 and the Maxima Platinum retails for $40,690 - increases of $410 and $650, respectively. Nissan's Midnight Edition Package Available On Maxima, Sentra, Altima, Rogue, Murano And Pathfinder

Nissan is expanding its Midnight Edition equipment package fleet by introducing five new models at the Chicago Auto Show 2017. Already available for the  Maxima SR , Midnight Edition versions of the Sentra, Altima, Rogue, Murano and Pathfinder have been launched with the same variety of visual modifications. The six Midnight Edition models can be painted in black, white, gray or red and all come with black wheels; 17-inch units for the Sentra SR and Rogue, 18-inch for the Altima SR, 19-inch for the Maxima SR and 20-inch for the Murano and  Pathfinder  Midnight Edition. Additionally, all six include black mirror caps and a selection of other black trimmings, including rear spoilers, roof rails or splash guards for the SUVs. Although the packages for each model are very similar, they do differ in price.
