After some teasing, we finally know what the Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera Arese RH95 will look like and what kind of performance it will have. Although Touring has not yet revealed what car the Arese RH95 is based on, its V8 engine makes the same amount of power as the twin-turbocharged Ferrari F8 Tributo: 710 hp (720 PS) at 8,000 rpm and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque from 3,250 rpm, which are channeled to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The sprint from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) is handled in 3.0 seconds flat and it can run all the way up 205 mph (330 km/h). Despite being the first mid-engined car Touring has ever produced, the design does incorporate classic elements from the coachbuilder’s past. The beltline, for instance, was inspired by the Disco Coupe while the nose incorporates elements first seen on the AERO 3. Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera has used the Geneva Motor Show to introduce their new Sciàdipersia Cabriolet. Created as a follow up to last year’s Sciàdipersia Coupe, the convertible is based on the Maserati GranCabrio and features a handcrafted exterior with lightweight aluminum body panels and carbon fiber components. The model has a bit of retro vibe and Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera says the “sharp edges and flat surfaces revert to suggestions of elegant styles from the 1970s.” Regardless of how you feel about the design, the car is certainly unique and its rear end has stylish combination of soft curves and angled surfaces. The cabin largely carries over from the GranCabrio, but buyers can select their own trim and upholstery combinations. In the case of this particular car, the owner ordered chocolate leather with cream accents and orange contract stitching. Power is provided by a naturally aspirated 4.7-liter V8 engine that produces 454 hp (338 kW / 460 PS)...

Aston Martin sure is busy at the moment. While one would expect the British marque to have its hands full with the recent release of the new Vantage and the DB11 not too long ago, Aston’s busy at work on what they’re calling a flagship super GT. While we don’t know a lot, we do know that the car will be dubbed the DBS Superleggera. Car enthusiasts and Aston Martin fans won’t have to reach into the deep recesses of their mind to know that the DBS nameplate has played a large role in the automaker’s history. The three letters have been a part of the brand for nearly 50 years. In 1967, Aston unveiled the first vehicle to have a DBS badge. More recently, we saw the nameplate return for the range-topping variant of the DB9 in 2007. Well DBS fans, the name’s making a comeback. And it’s bringing something even more iconic with it – a Superleggera badge. Now that might throw even some of the astute fans for a loop. We haven’t heard much from Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera since the company unveiled the Disco Volante Spyder a couple of years ago but the coachbuilder has just revealed plans for an all-new model. Set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week, the Sciadipersia is based on the Maserati GranTurismo and features unique bodywork that makes it virtually unrecognizable. The donor car’s aggressive front fascia has been replaced by a more conservative unit which is tapered and has chrome accents. The model also features new headlights and a ventilated hood. The styling changes continue further back as the Sciadipersia has custom fenders, a distinctive greenhouse and eye-catching pillars with bright accents. Continuing to the rear, buyers will find a new window which resides above a bespoke trunk and custom rear fascia. Be still our beating hearts. The beautiful blue sportscar you see above is the  Alfa Romeo  Disco Volante Spider. It's the latest work from Italian design house Carrozzeria Touring  Superleggera , which is celebrating its 90th anniversary. As you can see, it's a work of art, but what you can't see is that,  like the hardtop version  that came before it, this car is actually based on the bones of an  Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione . That means it's bound to be a rare beast, since only 500 8C coupes and 500 8C Spiders were ever built. Apparently, just seven of these droptops are planned, and each one will be painted in a different color. The hue we see on the car that's debuting at the 2016  Geneva Motor Show  is called Blue Ceruleo, which we figure pretty much means  Sky  Blue.
