The Geneva Motor Show always attracts some weird and wacky concepts and the GFG Style Kangaroo is one of the first to be unveiled at this year’s event. Attendees at a recent concours event in Switzerland caught a glimpse of the car over the weekend but it’s only now that the company has released official images and specifications for the vehicle. Dubbed an ‘electric hyper-SUV’, the GFG Style Kangaroo is unlike any other vehicle you’ve laid eyes on. The electric platform underpinning the vehicle has been co-developed with CH Auto and houses two 180 kW batteries delivering the equivalent of 483 hp and 442 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the ground through all four wheels, allowing the Kangaroo to jump to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.8 seconds. We haven’t heard much from GFG Style lately, but the firm will use the Geneva Motor Show to introduce their new Kangaroo concept. Billed as an “electric hyper-SUV,” the Kangaroo rides on an aluminum space frame platform which was developed in collaboration with CH Auto. The concept’s lightweight structure is covered by a carbon fiber body that appears more supercar than super SUV. The company is keeping details under wraps, but the teaser image reveals the concept will have an aggressive front fascia with a prominent splitter and triangular air intakes. We can also see slender headlights and angular body work. One of the concept’s more defining features is its unique greenhouse which has a domed appearance. The image also suggests there are roof-mounted cameras or sensors as well as upward opening doors.
