New 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Convertible, For That S-Class Flair At C-Class Prices
Mercedes-Benz pulled the top down on their very first C-Class Convertible on the eve of the Geneva Motor Show . It’s the S- Class Convertible’s little brother in more ways than one, bearing the same elegant styling on a more compact body that rests on Merc’s Modular Rear Architecture (MRA) platform shared with the C-Class Sedan and Coupe, retaining the same footprint. Even the quality soft top that is available in dark brown, dark blue, dark red or black is based on the one used on the S-Class Cabriolet. It can be opened and closed in less than 20 seconds up to a speed of 50 km/h (31mph). The four-seat interior is based on the C-Class Coupe, adding standard automatic belt extenders as well as the option of heat reflecting leather seats in five different shades plus Merc’s AIRSCARF neck-level heating.
