Fiat’s all-new and now, all-electric 2021 500e city car looks like it could be the world’s most stylish and environmentally-friendly urban vehicle when it launches later this summer. As seen from these images that surfaced on various websites and forums, including Autodata, we can tell that the new Fiat 500e boasts LED light units (front and rear), to go with a streamlined front fascia that kind of makes the city car look like a trendy Stormtrooper. Another noticeable change is the ‘500’ badge on the so-called grille (no need for one of those on an electric vehicle). The new inscription replaces the old Fiat badge found on the current 500. Inside, the new 500e features a fully overhauled dashboard design, with a new gauge cluster and a large, landscape-style infotainment display. Smart has unveiled the facelifted EQ ForTwo and EQ ForFour. Set to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 10th, the models have a revised design that incorporates a number of styling cues from the ForEase and ForEase+ concepts. Starting up front, the cars have been equipped with a new fascia that features a prominent mesh grille. It’s flanked by newly optional LED headlights and a modified bumper with vertical openings near the outside edges. Additional changes are limited, but the cars have updated taillights with a rhombic design that consists of “hundreds of elaborately arranged” LEDs. The cabin largely carries over, but there are a handful of notable changes. The wait for Honda’s first electric vehicle for Europe is almost over as the automaker is gearing up to reveal a near-production concept at the Geneva Motor Show. The carmaker has just released the first exterior shots of the study that’s called e Prototype and the good news is it sticks pretty close to the Urban EV Concept from 2017. However, it’s not quite as dramatic looking as said study. Honda says the e Prototype evolves from the Urban EV, and a closer look reveals some key differences. For example, it features rear doors with “hidden” handles and smaller, front-hinged doors at the front. As a result, the overall proportions of the car lean towards a more practical approach rather than a sporty one. Another big change concerns the rear end, where the study’s squared taillights have given way to round units that echo the design of the headlights. By facelifting the Spark for the 2019MY, Chevrolet has made it clear that the city car isn’t going anywhere just yet. The mid-life refresh, which comes three years after the fourth generation was first introduced, receives new color choices, a fresh face with an updated grille and chrome surrounds, and modded taillights. Upper levels benefit from LED DRLs, which sit lower than before, and projector-style headlamps. Offered in four flavors, the 2019 Chevrolet Spark comes with standard air conditioning, reversing camera and 10 airbags. Additionally, the manufacturer has made Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking standard, as a segment-exclusive. Kia has released a pair of teaser images showcasing the next-generation Ray city car, set to premiere before the end of 2017. These images were shared on Facebook by Hyundai and reveal a comprehensive makeover that’s sure to freshen-up the rather bland five-door, currently sold in South Korea. Up front, the new Ray will adopt a split front grille design as well as circular fog lights on either side of the front bumper. Also visible are projector headlights and LED daytime running lights. Elsewhere, we can see a set of intriguing black and silver wheels, a floating roof design and refined taillights. Unbeknownst to many, the current Kia Ray was actually the firm’s first production battery electric vehicle and is sold with a 67 hp electric motor and 16.4 kWh battery providing roughly 86 miles (138 km) of charge. Bangle's first automotive design project since leaving BMW in 2009, the REDS represents a clean-sheet rethink of the form an urban EV should take. As much a rolling living room as it is a motor vehicle, the REDS examines the automobile as an object that remains stationary 90 percent of the time. And not the least innovative approach is its roof. Instead of being swept back, the REDS' roof structure has an overhang to keep the sun out and reduce the need for air conditioning – something that can typically put a real strain on a power car's resources, be they electric or combustion. It still features a large moon roof, but the other half of the top is covered in a solar panel to help replenish the battery. Seat have followed in the footsteps of mother-brand Volkswagen by introducing an all-electric version of the Mii. Dubbed the eMii and based on its German cousin, the e-Up!, the zero-emission city car is being referred to as a prototype by the company's officials, who pulled the covers off it at the Mobile World Congress, in Barcelona, Spain. "What we see on the stand is the car that will allow us to test the operation of electrical technology in shared use vehicles. This does not mean that this is going to be our first electric car, but it is the ideal vehicle for carrying out these tests in Barcelona", said the brand's President, Luca de Meo. Powering the new Seat eMii is an electric motor that generates 81 horsepower and 210 Nm (155 lb-ft) of torque, according to Autocar, quoting the automaker. This allows it to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill in 11.3 seconds - more than a second faster than the e-Up!, and up to a top speed of 80 mph (129 km/h). ...

Two intriguing concepts have been introduced by Honda at CES 2017 in Las Vegas, one of which is a self-levelling motorcycle.  The  motorcycle  concept in question leverages the company’s brand new Riding Assist technology aimed at improving the stability of a motorcycle when it isn’t moving. Honda says that instead of using heavy gyroscopes, the self-levelling motorcycle concept borrows technology from the brand’s  UNI-CUB personal mobility concept , an intriguing Segway-like device which you sit on. Honda has also presented the NeuV (New Electric Urban Vehicle)  concept  at CES, a Smart-sized two seater designed to be used around the clock. Honda says that most privately-owned vehicles sit idle 96 per cent of the time. The NeuV however is able to operate as an automated ride-sharing vehicle when not being used by its owner. CES 2017 is just a couple of days away and a startup has just released the first images of a compact new electric car. Dubbed the Eli ZERO, the car appears to be similar in size to the  Renault Twizy , but adds some practicality with fixed doors and windows. Although no dimensions are available just yet, it certainly appears quite a bit smaller than the Smart ForTwo and will be targeted towards those that live in large and congested cities as well as suburban neighborhoods. Up front, the ZERO incorporates a cute little grille and a set of compact headlights with LED daytime running lights around the edges. The windshield also stretches far up the front fascia and seamlessly joins with the roof. Fiat’s  popular Panda city car  received some mild updates for 2017 in order to remain fresh against its tough competition.  The Italian company left the design pretty much unchanged and concentrated on giving a good revamp on the interior options instead. The only new features for the exterior is the addition of two new color options -the pastel Amore Red and the metallic Colosseo Grey- and a pair of new alloy designs. Starting from the dashboard, Fiat added new graphics on the instruments, making them more modern and easier to read. All of the seat fabrics are refreshed with new graphics and colour options for all trim levels.  Basic  Panda versions  get a fabric upholstery with geometric elements  while the 4x4 and Cross models  feature shot fabric in the middle of the seats to make them look more robust.
