In the event of the recent turmoil, Faraday Future wanted to reassure its partners, during their first Global Suppliers Summit in Gardena, California, that they’re still on the right path. The two-day event gathered almost “200 representatives from more than 100 global suppliers”, according to the automaker, which also claimed that first deliveries of the FF 91 will start by the end of this year. However, that’s not the biggest announcement made, as the company also teased another SUV. Slotting below the flagship FF 91, the vehicle was previewed in an official sketch, labeled as “product concept”. Design wise, it’s inspired by the FF 91, with slim headlights and similar creases in the front bumper. Two days after Faraday Future unveiled the  FF 91  at CES 2017, the startup automaker has revealed that it has received over 64,000 reservations for the model. At the time of the FF 91’s launch, FF said that reservations could be made with a $5,000 refundable deposit. As  Jalopnik  points out however, you can actually make a low-priority reservation without turning over a cent. Additionally, multiple reservations can be made by the same person. Tesla made worldwide headlines when over  400,000 people  placed reservations for the Model 3 within a couple weeks of its launch. The big difference there is that $1,000 deposits had to be placed, providing the automaker with hundreds of millions of dollars.  Of course, the FF 91 is an entirely different beast to the Model 3. A year after Faraday Future unveiled a  crazy concept  at CES, the electric startup has presented its first production vehicle in prototype spec at this year's Consumer Electronics Show, dubbed the FF 91. Faraday Future says that the  FF 91  is powered by a 130 kWh battery pack and uses four electric motors sending power to the ground. All up, it delivers 1,050 hp and 1,800 Nm of torque and is able to launch from a standstill to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just  2.39 seconds . What's more, it also has an EPA-estimated range of 378 miles. According to the brand, the multi-motor setup of the FF 91 allows for real-time torque vectoring to the rear wheels to provide “agile cornering” and safety. The battery pack, co-developed with LG Chem, can be charged to 50 per cent with the included home charger in under 4.5 hours at 240 volts. Faraday Future has just released two new images of its first production model set to debut at  CES  early next month. Although we had hoped that the model would debut in  production  guise, one of these teasers reveals that it will still be a concept, as evidenced by the use of non-road-legal cameras in place of the wing mirrors. Beyond these cameras, the above teaser shows an intriguing taillight design which has a pattern to mimic the front grille and includes an illuminated FF logo in the center. Also visible is a flowing roofline and a rear windshield which stretches right back to the rear fascia with no apparent decklid in sight. As for the second teaser, it shows what appears to be a retractable LiDAR sensor that pops up from the roof and has been seen previously affixed to heavily camouflaged prototypes. Electric car startup Faraday Future has just dropped a new teaser image of its  first production vehicle , set to debut on January 3rd at CES 2017. As we already know, FF’s first model will take the shape of an SUV rivalling the Tesla Model X. From this teaser, we can see that it will feature headlights connected by a single strip of LEDs stretching across the front fascia.  Additionally, it will include an interesting front grille that features an illuminated ‘FF’ logo in the center. Just  last week , former company employees asserted that despite Faraday’s promises, the vehicle will not reach the production line next year. Additionally, it was said that “if CES goes badly, it’s all over”. Faraday Future has dropped a brief teaser video of its  first production model  which will debut in January at CES 2017. While the clip only shows a heavily disguised prototype for a matter of seconds, the vehicle's overall shape definitely resembles a crossover with similar proportions to the Tesla Model X. Although  Faraday Future  hasn't confirmed what form its first model will take, a previously-released teaser image also previewed what appeared to be a crossover. Few details about the startup's first model are known other than the fact that it will be powered by the  world's highest energy dense battery  cells used in the automotive industry. This should give both an impressive range and enough grunt to keep up with Elon Musk's creations. Exactly a year after unveiling its bold supercar concept, Faraday Future could reveal its first production model at CES 2017 in January. While speaking at the launch  LeEco  LeSEE Pro in San Francisco, company chief executive Yueting Jia said that Faraday, the U.S. automaker being  funded  largely by LeEco, might present its first production car in January. A trio of new spy photos is giving us a much better look at Faraday Future’s upcoming Tesla Model X-fighting crossover. According to our spies, the company is developing the electric vehicle at a secluded facility in the Mojave Desert. The significant amount of body cladding on the vehicle hides the styling cues, but we can still gain insights from the crossover’s silhouette. The front end has a fairly short hood that arches downward from the windshield. The cutouts in the camouflage also suggest the model has high-mounted headlights that sweep upward. The passenger compartment looks quite airy thanks to a large windshield, and the rear hatch has a steep slope, which gives the CUV a coupe-like appearance.
