Faraday Future To Reveal Production Model At January's CES
Exactly a year after unveiling its bold supercar concept, Faraday Future could reveal its first production model at CES 2017 in January.
While speaking at the launch LeEco LeSEE Pro in San Francisco, company chief executive Yueting Jia said that Faraday, the U.S. automaker being funded largely by LeEco, might present its first production car in January.
Unfortunately, that's all the information or lack thereof, which Jia would reveal, reports Jalopnik.
Soon after his announcement however, the company sent out a tweet saying it will "unveil the future" at CES, likely its first model.
Very little is known about Faraday Future's first model other than a teaser image released earlier in the month previewing the vehicle's advanced and ultra-dense battery pack.
That teaser showed what appears to be a sleek-looking crossover with long front and rear overhangs and potentially, seating for seven. Considering the popularity of crossovers and SUVs, it makes sense for FF to tap into this market first.
