Hyundai Azera Gains Light Update For 2017MY
The 2017 Hyundai Azera has been modestly revised, with a new color palette and safety and comfort features.
Joining the Pewter Gray Metallic, Venetian Red Pearl, and Moroccan Pearl later on will be the Nocturne Black, Hyper White, and Ion Silver, while inside, the car benefits from standard heated and ventilated front seats, leather seating surfaces, 8-inch navi touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a 550-watt Infinity Logic 7 audio system.
The Blind Spot Detection with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert is offered at no extra cost and the 2017 Azera can also be specified with Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning, Smart Cruise Control, stop/start, HID headlights with automatic high beam assist and LED fog lights. The options list also counts the electric parking brake with auto hold, rear window and side window sunshades, panoramic roof and 19-inch alloy wheels.
The 2017 Hyundai Azera also features a fully independent suspension, with MacPherson struts, coil springs, 24mm front stabilizer-bar, multi-links at the rear, Advanced Sachs shock absorbers and Amplitude Selective Dampers (ASD).
Power is still provided by the same 3.3-liter V6 engine, which is rated at 293 horsepower and 255 lb-ft (346 Nm) of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Fuel consumption is rated at 20/28/23 mpg in city/highway/combined (11.8/8.4/10.2 lt/100 km).
