Hyundai & Gurnade Create Track-Focused Veloster Concept For SEMA
Hyundai and Gurnade Inc have teamed up in order to put together this Veloster Concept for the 2016 SEMA Show.
The Gurnade Veloster Concept builds on the model's already aggressive stance by adding integrated flares, a frong splitter, racing canards, three-piece lightweight forged wheels and a custom rear spoiler.
"Gurnade has always been drawn to the uniquely aggressive lines of the production Veloster," said Joshua Cloud, owner of Gurnade Inc. "So when Hyundai approached us with the opportunity to develop one of their vehicles for SEMA, we didn’t hesitate to create the Gurnade Veloster Concept. It leverages all the strengths of the Veloster and takes it where we always envisioned it could go."
Among the concept's key technical modifications, we've got the 845 Motorsports intercooler, downpipe and cold-air intake, the ECU tune, Synapse blow-off valve, ARK Performance cat-back exhaust, NEO Motorsports coil-overs & 6-piston brake kit, Pierce Motorsports strut bar, rear torsion bar and tie brace, 19" OZT forged wheels and Toyo competition-spec tires.
Outside, the car stands out thanks to the Magic Magenta paint, Lightner Motorsports custom fender flares and grille, EPR carbon-fiber front spoiler, side sills and rear garnish, carbon-fiber hood & hatch, ARK Performance carbon-fiber spoiler, the vented bumper cover, plus the custom headlights and fog lights.
The interior features Cobra Nogaro racing seats, Takata racing harnesses, Pierce Motorsports roll cage, Glowshift gauges and LED Glow lightning, a SoCal Garage Works carbon-fiber steering wheel, Phoenix Golf subwoofer and amplifier plus a Creative Car-Tunes audio system.
The 2016 SEMA Show takes places November 1st through November 4th at the Last Vegas Convention Center.
