Fisker's Upcoming Sedan Has Butterfly Doors And A 400-Mile Range

Henrik Fisker recently announced his comeback in the automotive industry with Fisker INC, an American electric car maker, based in California.

The company wants to break new barriers within the car industry with its products, with the very first model scheduled to debut in the second half of 2017, and this is how it looks like.

Granted, the teaser isn’t that clear, but it shows a four-door model (aimed at Tesla’s Model S), boasting front and rear butterfly doors, that would make the Model X’s falcon wings look plain. According to Fisker, the doors are newly-developed for easier egress and ingress.

The car's style seems to be reminiscent of the VLF Force 1 Concept, especially at the front, albeit its headlights seem to extend all the way to the fenders.

The vehicle will also feature a carbon-fiber and aluminum structure, which will help it offer a larger interior space than its competitors. Moreover, it will have a 400-mile (644 kilometers) electric range thanks to its innovative batteries.

Further details about the car are expected next week, when Henrik Fisker will reveal the model’s name and unveil the first full image.
