Chrysler has revealed the 2021 Pacifica at the Chicago Auto Show, featuring new options and technologies, as well as an updated styling. The facelifted Chrysler Pacifica debuts with a revised front fascia that features a 3D diamond-style front grille, redesigned LED headlights and taillights, new wheel designs and an updated S Appearance package. For the 2021 model year, the new Chrysler Pacifica gains a new all-wheel drive system option, capable of transferring all available torque to the rear wheels, or whichever wheels offer the more traction, a unique feature in its class. Models equipped with Chrysler’s AWD system are also getting a rear sway bar, revised suspension tuning and an increased by 20mm ride height. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is set to unveil a new five-year plan later this year and outspoken CEO Sergio Marchionne has provided a few hints at what we can expect. Speaking with Motor Trend, Marchionne confirmed the company still has plans to introduce a crossover that is based on the same platform that underpins the Chrysler Pacifica minivan. The executive said the design work has already been completed and everything is ready to go so "We can probably get it up and running in 18 months.” Little is known about the model but the company's original plan called for the full-size crossover to be launched in 2017. It would have be sold as a Chrysler and offered with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. A few days ago, FCA teased some Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and RAM models  ahead of their SEMA debut , and know it’s time to see what mods they bring to the table.  If you’re serious about modifying your car and then some, SEMA is the place to be – where aftermarket specialists come up with outrageous ideas, and car makers become tuners/customizers for a brief period of time. Chrysler couldn’t pass the opportunity to show off what it can accomplish with its Mopar brand, that’s why the American conglomerate brought three two Dodge models, two RAM vehicles, a Jeep, and a minivan. The latter  is a Chrysler Pacifica  Cadence that uses no less than 100 accessory parts from Mopar’s bin. It was created with an active lifestyle in mind (a paddleboarding theme, to be more precise), that’s why it sports Stow ‘n Go cargo bins, a Mopar/Thule paddleboard/surfboard carrier, and even a pet kennel.
