Milan Red Is A 1,306HP Bugatti Chiron Rival From Austria
A small Austrian car company called Milan Automotive wants to rival the big boys in the hypercar segment, such as Koenigsegg and Bugatti. And they’re planning to do so with the Red, an exotic model that’s powered by a quad-turbocharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that feeds 1,325PS (1,306hp / 974kW) and 1,400Nm (1,033lb-ft) of torque to the rear wheels through a dual-clutch seven-speed automatic transmission. Milan Automotive says the Red can run to 100km/h (62mph) in 2.47sec, or about the same as the Bugatti Chiron. As for the 0 to 200km/h (0-124mph) and 0-300km/h (0-mph), these take 5.46sec and 9.98sec, respectively. Top speed stands at in excess of 400km/h (249mph), and the Austrian car firm claims the Red is capable of lateral accelerations of 2.6G. The Milan Red is 4,741mm (186,7in) long, 1,197mm (47.1in) tall and 2,156mm (85in) wide, with a wheelbase of 2,750mm (108.3in).
