Mitsubishi Confirms Two SUV Concepts For Paris Auto Show

Mitsubishi has announced its complete line-up for the impending Paris Auto Show which will include the world premiere of the  GT-PHEV Concept . During the show, the theme of the automaker's booth will be based around “Driving Beyond: Another Step Forward with SUVs and Electric Power”. As such, a selection of other SUVs and electric vehicles will be displayed, including the  eX Concept  which debuted last year as well as European version of the  Outlander  and Outlander PHEV models. Elsewhere, Mitsubishi will bring along the ASX, Pajero, Triton, i-MiEV and the Mirage, clearly keen to promote its range of fuel-efficient models. Certainly the highlight will be the GT-PHEV Concept. It is powered by a high-capacity battery pack as well as three electric motors and a small internal-combustion engine. New Mitsubishi Concept Teased Looks Conspicuously Similar To The eX Study

There's a new Mitsubishi concept coming our way and since the teasing game has begun, we cannot help ourselves from noticing mind-blowing similarities to one  presented last year : the eX.  From the identical shape of the body to the same color, the new concept doesn’t seem to offer any surprises on the outside, even though it carries what seems to be chrome detailing on the grille, a set of roof rails and differently shaped taillights, on top of the  eX . While the latter is tipped to morph into a  zero-emission urban crossover  and rival the likes of the Nissan Juke, the "new" study is said to combine " the toughness of an SUV with the versatility of an MPV ", as Mitsubishi explains in the short text accompanying the teaser. Moreover, it will use a wide body and optimized layout to provide " generous interior space to allow seven occupants to relax in comfort ".  Powertrain details have yet to be released, but the  electric, all-wheel drive setup ...
