Volvo has completed their all-new 90-series lineup with the V90 Cross Country, a rugged version of the estate model that follows the S90, V90 and XC90 SUV.  The all-new V90 Cross Country is the latest addition to Volvo's all-weather product category, which has been in place ever since the introduction of the first CC model nearly 20 years ago. According to the Swedish automaker, Cross Country models are extremely important to their portfolio as luxury car buyers tend to have more "experience-based" lifestyles which occasionally means going off road. The  new S90  and  V90  family has just been expanded with two more members, which will go on sale next year.  Billed as performance-oriented  versions and aimed against  the same BMW 5-Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Jaguar XF and Audi A6, the brand's  new R-Design models  have a sportier styling consisting of a unique grille, fog lights integrated into the front spoiler, piano black trim on both ends and five-spoke diamond-cut wheels finished in matte black paint.  Mods continue in the cabin, where the S90 and  V90  R-Design have received sports seats, a different steering wheel, new trim options and interior illumination package. Volvo pulled the covers off their  long-awaited V90 Estate  in Stockholm today, making this the latest model to take its place within in their flagship 90 series, next to the XC90 SUV and S90 saloon. The V90 is meant to build on the brand's rich heritage in the estate segment, which began 60 years ago with the Duett and is now being ushered into the future with the help of a car that features cutting-edge Pilot Assist semi-autonomous drive technology.
