2019 BMW X2 M35i Combines 302 HP With A Hatchback-Like Body
The BMW X2 lineup is growing as the automaker has taken the wraps off the all-new X2 M35i. Being billed as the “most powerful compact sports activity coupe,” the X2 M35i has a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine that produces 302 hp (225 kW / 306 PS) and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a standard all-wheel drive system which enables the model to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.9 seconds. The performance upgrades extend beyond the engine compartment as the crossover has been equipped with an adaptive M Sport suspension and an M Sport front differential. The latter component is celebrating its debut on an M Performance model and it reduces traction losses to the front wheels.
