Novitec N-Largo Ferrari 812 Superfast Is Wider, Faster, Stronger

Image
Earlier this year, Novitec released an aerodynamic kit for the Ferrari 812 Superfast complete with a lowered suspension and high-performance exhaust system for the car’s 6.5-liter V12 engine. Now it’s time for the German tuner to unleash its full range of upgrades aimed at Ferrari’s ultra-quick grand tourer. We’re talking about a widebody version that completely transforms the 812 Superfast’s looks, complemented by hi-tech forged wheels and a power upgrade. Under the label Novitec N-Largo, the elaborate bodywork modification for the Ferrari 812 Superfast gives it the looks of a street-legal race car. Made entirely of carbon, the widebody kit adds a width of 140 mm (5.5 inches) at the rear axle and 70 mm (2.75 inches) at the front axle of the Italian supercar, while also improving the its aerodynamic efficiency. The Novitec N-Largo widebody kit has been created in cooperation with designer Vittorio Strosek who has taken aerodynamic inspiration from Formula 1 for the fenders....

Novitec Gives Ferrari 488 A Wide Body And 772 Horses

Image
As difficult as it may be for most of us to fathom, there are those who wouldn't find the “standard” Ferrari 488 sufficient. Fortunately there are tuners out there offering upgrades to take it even further. The latest comes from Novitec Rosso, which has revealed a limited edition tuning package for the twin-turbo Prancing Horse. The latest Novitec N-Largo offers a full wide-body conversion with aerodynamic enhancements made entirely out of carbon fiber. With new fenders, wheel arches, enlarged vents, bumpers, and spoilers, the 488 comes out five and a half inches wider than stock. Filling those beefed-up wheel arches are a set of 22-inch NF6 NL alloys, fitted to a suspension dropped over an inch closer to the tarmac, with a hydraulic lift system to help it clear curbs and speed bumps. Of course, Novitec being Novitec, it has also massaged the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 to produce 772 horsepower and 658 lb-ft of torque – an increase of 102 hp and 97 lb-ft, respectively. That...

Novitec Torado Squeezes 830 HP Through A Huracan's Rear Wheels

Image
Typically, when Lamborghini converts one of its all-wheel drive models to rear drive only, it de-tunes the engine slightly. Otherwise it'd just be too much to handle.  Novitec , however, is going the opposite direction. The German tuner's Torado division has released a series of enhancements for the  Huracan LP580-2  – the rear-drive version of the  Huracan LP610-4 . Only instead of 572 horsepower (580PS), Novitec's version boasts 830 horses. That's a heck of a lot of muscle to channel to just two driven wheels, made possible (if not necessarily wise) by a pair of superchargers. It also features a center-exit variable exhaust system fashioned from inconel, a full aero kit, a refitted interior, a suspension dropped by 35 millimeters (1.4 inches), and a new set of wheels measuring 20 inches up front and 21 at the back. Here's hoping whoever buys one has the skills it'll invariably take to keep from crashing it.
