Morgan has revealed the all-new Plus Four as the brand’s latest entry-level model and the second one to adopt the company’s aluminum CX-Generation platform. Despite looking very similar to the old Plus 4, the historic British brand says that the new Plus Four is 97 percent new – also notice how they swapped “4” for “Four” in its name. The all-new Morgan Plus Four was developed alongside the also new Plus Six during the past four years, with the aluminum platform providing a much more rigid basis than the old steel chassis. Since this is a Morgan, a hand-made ash frame is still present, alongside hand-beaten aluminum panels and a hand-trimmed leather interior. Power comes from a BMW-sourced 2.0-liter four-cylinder TwinPower turbo engine that produces 255 HP and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque. This is the Morgan Plus Six and, believe it or not, it is the first all-new Morgan since the Aero 8 was introduced 19 years ago! It has the classic design of other Morgan models but don’t let that fool you, it does have some modern-day tech and will be displayed at the Geneva Motor Show. The most important thing to know about the Morgan Plus Six is that it isn’t powered by a V8 engine like its predecessor and instead uses a 3.0-liter straight-six. Not just any straight-six. The Plus Six has BMW’s B58 turbocharged engine. Yes, that’s the same engine powering the latest-generation BMW Z4 and Toyota Supra. Power sits at 335 hp and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm). 50 years is a long time by most standards. For a car’s lifespan, it’s an eternity. But that’s how long Morgan has been building the Plus 8 for – minus a few years when it was out of production. What you see here represents Morgan’s celebration of that remarkable milestone. Some 6,000 units were built before the Rover V8 that powered it was discontinued in 2004, the Plus 8 dying along with it. Morgan is phasing out the Aero 8. But before it does, the British manufacturer will built eight final examples of the ultimate version to date. The Aero 8 was first introduced back in 2001, emerging as the first completely new Morgan design since the 1960s. It ended production in 2010, only to be revived again in 2015. The new Aero GT, revealed here for the first time, is looking to give the nameplate a spark and usher it into the history books for good. The send-off Aero GT is based on an aluminum architecture – in stark contrast to Morgan’s traditional wood frames – overlaid with hand-beaten metal aluminum body panels. For the GT, the bodywork has been modified for increased downforce, with additions including louvered front fenders and a rear diffusor – all derived from the GT3 racing version that Morgan debuted in 2009. British automaker Morgan is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Plus 8 with a limited edition that’s coming to the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. Teased for the second time in three official images and a video, this example sports a blue lacquered paint finish, which is supposed to be reminiscent of the first Plus 8, along with yellow accents around the grille, bonnet, and rear towing eyes. Developed on the track, only 50 units will be produced and all of them feature an aluminum chassis beneath the traditional body. The lightweight construction helps the latest Morgan weigh just 1,100kg (2,425lbs). Morgan is going to start producing the electric version of its popular 3 Wheeler, the EV3, in the third quarter of 2018 at their factory in Worcestershire, UK. Mixing retro looks with modern technologies, the upcoming Morgan EV3 will ditch the 80hp V-twin engine of the normal 3 Wheeler for the sake of a 56hp electric motor and a 21kWh battery pack. The driving range is expected to be 120 miles on a full charge, Autocar reports. First seen at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the Morgan EV3 will tip the scales at less than 500kg (1,102lbs), despite the heavy electric powertrain and battery pack. This makes the EV3 even lighter than the petrol-powered 3 Wheeler, with Morgan using carbon composite body panels for the first time. The most extreme Morgan to date, the upcoming Aero GT, has been previewed with a series of teaser images. Morgan Motor Company says it’s a “gloves-off” version of the Aero 8 which marks the end of the famous British sports car’s production. The new race-inspired Morgan Aero GT will adopt the lessons learned from Morgan’s GT3 victories, featuring an all-new hand-worked body which is designed to reduce drag and increase downforce. The bespoke new Aero GT will come with new wing top louvers, deeper side sills and a big rear diffuser. Each example will also be heavily customized according to each owner’s taste. Power will come from the BMW-sourced 4.8-liter V8 with 367hp, paired to a six-speed manual gearbox. 0-62mph comes in 4.5 seconds, with the top speed set at 170mph. You’ll be hard pressed to find a more self-contradictory car in the market than  Mogran’s new EV3  that will be revealed in pre-production trim at the  Geneva Motor Show on Tuesday .
