Lamborghini has delved deeper into the world of Gran Turismo Sport with the new Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo Concept. Unveiled in real-life form in Monte Carlo, ahead of the 2019 FIA Certified Gran Turismo Championships World Finals, it was created by the automaker’s Centro Stile and will launch in the popular video game next spring. “Lamborghini is a very young brand, and this is why we are here today, to present our newest vision in the form of a real model, with a highly futuristic and cool design to be enjoyed by the young generation of racing game and super sports car enthusiasts”, said CEO Stefano Domenicali. Originally created to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Gran Turismo video game on PlayStation 4, the Audi e-Tron Vision Gran Turismo has now been brought into the real world. Built in Ingolstadt as a one-off racing prototype, it uses three electric motors, one driving the front wheels and the other two channeling power to the rear axle, each with 200kW (272PS / 268hp), for a combined output of 600kW (815PS / 804hp). Tipping the scales at 1,450kg (3,197lbs), the Audi e-Tron Vision Gran Turismo takes less than 2.5sec to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h (0-62mph), aided also by a power-to-weight ratio of 1.78kg per horsepower and a 50:50 weight distribution between the front and rear axle. Vision Gran Turismo concepts often take on proportions of the outlandish: Le Mans prototypes, almost, without any regulations or practical considerations to take into account. Honda, however, has taken a different approach. The Japanese automaker today released its latest contribution to the pantheon of digital sports-car concepts in the form of the Honda Sports Vision Gran Turismo. And while it may not be quite ready for the showroom, it looks a lot closer than most of its virtual-reality stablemates. Milanese coachbuilder Zagato has unveiled the IsoRivolta Vision Gran Turismo at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show, a car that anyone can drive as long as they have a PlayStation. This new Zagato model is available in Gran Turismo Sport on PS4, boasting an overall theme that combines sleek Italian aesthetics with the brawn of American powertrains. "The IsoRivolta Vision Gran Turismo was created to drive in the virtual-reality world, a world created by Gran Turismo. There is no mass in the virtual-reality world, as it remains a place that exists only in our imagination," said Zagato VP of design, Norihiko Harada. The most extreme McLaren in recent years sadly exists only on the virtual world: it’s called the Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo, the latest exclusive car created for the upcoming Gran Turismo Sport. According to McLaren, the Ultimate Vision GT isn’t a preview of a specific future model but rather a vision of what the company could build beyond 2030. Players will be given the option of three liveries: Performance, Ulterior and the stealthy Noir. Every bit has a purpose to serve behind the dramatic shape of the concept, with McLaren applying the ‘form follows function’ mantra in their virtual creation. Italian design house Zagato will soon join the long list of companies to have created Vision Gran Turismo concepts for the popular video game. Officially dubbed the Zagato IsoRivolta Vision Gran Turismo concept, the car takes styling inspiration from the Rivolta of the mid-1960’s and even though just part of the front and side have been revealed, it’s clear that Zagato’s Vision GT isn’t quite as ludicrous as some others. That’s no bad thing, however. At the front, the car includes bulging wheel arches that flow seamlessly into the aggressive and sharp front bumper. There’s also a set of thin headlights running diagonally along the arches and a small canard on the side of the bumper. Last but not least are a set of Pirelli’s new P Zero tires with red lettering. There's a new supercar manufacturer on the scene – but it's not a new name. That name is Fittipaldi, the two-time F1 and Indy champion who has now started his own line of road-going supercars, starting with the one you see here. The culmination of much anticipation, the Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo has finally stood for its curtain call at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. And it looks every bit as awesome as we'd hoped. Those who've been following the development will know that, even with all his clout and expertise, Emerson Fittipaldi did not go it alone on this project. He's used to being part of a winning team (like Lotus and McLaren with which he won his world championships), and assembled some serious talent to turn his dream into a reality. The days are ticking down until the start of the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, leaving automakers with less and less time to preview what they have in store. And one of the concepts we're most looking forward to seeing is the Fittipaldi EF7, pictured in this third teaser image. The EF7 is the product of a collaboration between two-time F1 champ (and Indy winner) Emerson Fittipaldi, the famed Italian design house Pininfarina, and Mercedes racing specialist HWA. The new supercar is being built around a carbon monocoque with a naturally aspirated V8 engine good for around 600 horsepower and only about 2,200 pounds of mass to move. Following earlier teasers hinting at the front- and rear-end designs, this latest image gives us a better idea of what to expect from the wing and rear deck. While some teasers leave us more or less intrigued than others, we have to admit that the announcement of the  Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo  concept has captivated our attention. This project is spearheaded by the talented hands of Emerson Fittipaldi, with engineering work carried out by Mercedes racing specialist HWA and the design by  Pininfarina . Now, the  carrozzeria  has given us not only another look at the forthcoming supercar concept, but some more salient details as well. For starters, the EF7 is being built around a carbon-fiber monocoque – just like an F1 car – with carbon bodywork as well. The lightweight construction is earmarked to keep the weight down to around 1,000 kilograms (or 2,200 lbs) – which would make it significantly lighter than, say, a LaFerrari, which tips the scales at 1,255 kg dry (or 1,585 kg with fluids). There's a new supercar manufacturer hitting the scene, and it's set to reveal its first concept at the upcoming  Geneva Motor Show  this March. That company is Fittipaldi Motors, which (as you might have guessed) is the brainchild of famed racing driver Emerson Fittipaldi. But he's not going it alone. The two-time Formula One world champion and Indy 500 winner has teamed up with legendary  carrozzeria  Pininfarina  for the design, and racing constructor HWA for the engineering work. Pininfarina is a name that should require no introduction, having designed countless Ferraris and so many others over the course of its illustrious 87-year history. HWA may be better known in racing circles, having been founded by  Hans-Werner Aufrecht  – the same man behind AMG – and responsible for  Mercedes' DTM racers  and Formula Three engines.
