New Flying Spur W12 S Is The First Four-Door Bentley To Top 200 MPH
Bentley revealed a new range-topper for the Flying Spur range dubbed the W12 S which is also the fastest four-door model that came out of Crewe-based factory. The twin-turbo 6.0-litre W12 engine has been updated to offer 635 PS (626hp), up from 625 PS, and torque from 800Nm to 820Nm (605lb-ft), available from just 2,000rpm. This power increase allows the new Flying Spur W12 S to achieve a 202mph (325km/h) top speed, making it not only the fastest four-door Bentley but also the first one to exceed the 200mph mark. 0-60mph comes in 4.2 seconds (0-100km/h in 4.5 sec). As with every Bentley these days, power is distributed to all four wheels with a 40:60 front-rear torque split while the suspension has been updated with specific damper and stability control calibrations, without compromising the Flying Spur’s refined ride.
