SCG Teases Retro Interior Of New Sports Car

Image
Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus (SCG) has released a pair of images previewing the interior design for its new sports car. First teased late last week, the new sports car will be based on a concept car that’s over 25 years old and feature a central driving position like the McLaren F1 and upcoming BP23. Taking to Facebook, James Glickenhaus published a pair of drawings of the interior which show off its retro design. The first, pictured above, consists of a simple three-spoke steering wheel, a six-speed gated manual shifter, large circular tachometer and speedometer and a selection of other circular gauges across the dashboard. The second image is largely the same but has a slightly more complex dashboard with an air vent sitting between the tacho and speedo. While the world has yet to see the new car in its entirety, the company says it has already begun to receive orders and deposits and will sell out its initial allocation of 20-25 cars shortly. Few technical specifications ...

Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus Teases A $400,000 Sports Car

Image
Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus (SCG) has released the first teaser images of the company's next model. In a post on the company's Facebook page, SCG hinted the model will be a "very lightweight sports car" with a carbon fiber body and chassis. The post went on to suggest the car will have a three-person seating arrangement which could be similar to the McLaren F1 and BP23. Technical details remain elusive but the post mentioned a "high revving engine" that produces 650 hp (484 kW). It would be connected to a gated six-speed manual transmission with a "clutch pedal option." The teaser images don't reveal much but Motor Authority notes the car will be inspired by an old concept which SCG has the rights to replicate. As the company explained, the model is "based on a concept car that's over 25 years old." There's no word on which concept the company is talking about but SCG said it wouldn't draw inspiration from t...

Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus' New 750HP 003 Stradale Will Debut At Geneva

Image
This may look like James Glickenhaus’ famed endurance racer, but it’s actually  the road-going SCG  003S variant , which will debut at next year’s Geneva Motor Show. Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus (SCG) has revealed new images of the upcoming vehicle, stating that SCG003S promises to be the fastest-cornering car on sale, thanks to its advanced aerodynamic tech that will help it generate more than 2Gs through corners. Even though the “S” in its name stands for “Stradale”, the SCG003S is a direct descendant of  the car that won the Nurburgring 24-hour race  (in its class), so it’s far from being a tamed machine. To give you an idea what Glickenhaus is on about, the Koenigsegg One:1 pulled a maximum 1.72 G’s at 180km/h (112 mph) in one of Suzuka’s corners. Glickenhaus' passion for the old Italian racing car culture becomes evident when you take a closer look at his business. His team is actually a “Scuderia”, the cars raced by SCG are “Competizione” variants, and he ev...
