Following last week’s teaser, Porsche has introduced the new 718 Boxster Spyder and the 718 Cayman GT4. Designed to be the pinnacle of the road-going 718 lineup, both models are equipped with a newly developed 4.0-liter boxer engine. The six-cylinder is naturally aspirated and produces 414 hp (309 kW / 420 PS) and 310 lb-ft (420 Nm) of torque. The engine is connected to a six-speed manual transmission which enables both models to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.4 seconds.  The top speeds are slightly different as the 718 Spyder maxes out at 187 mph (301 km/h), while the 718 GT4 tops out at 189 mph (304 km/h). The Porsche 911 Carrera T has been a hit with enthusiasts and the company is following up by introducing the new 718 T. Available in both Boxster and Cayman guise, the 718 T is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 295 hp (220 kW / 300 PS) and 280 lb-ft (380 Nm) of torque. The engine can be paired to either a six-speed manual or an optional PDK gearbox. The engine enables both models to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.9 seconds with the manual, while the PDK is 0.2 seconds quicker. In Sport Plus mode, the cars rocket to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 4.5 seconds before topping out at 170 mph (275 km/h). While the engine carries over from the standard model, the 718 T features a Porsche Active Suspension Management system which reduces the ride height by 20mm. Porsche has taken the wraps off the new 718 GTS. Designed to appeal to driving enthusiasts, the model features a new front bumper and tinted lighting units. The sporty styling continues at the rear as designers installed a black rear apron and a center-mounted sports exhaust system. Other highlights include black GTS badging and 20-inch wheels with a satin black finish. The interior largely carries over and comes equipped with Alcantara sport seats featuring GTS logos embroidered into the headrests. Drivers will also find an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel and a standard Sport Chrono Package. Power is provided by a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 365 PS (269 kW) and up to 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque. Dutifully following the  latest Boxster , the  Porsche 718 Cayman  has arrived with an array of slightly new things. As with its roadster sibling, the chief change other than the three new numbers attached to the name is the engine. New turbocharged flat-fours replace the naturally aspirated sixes in the old car, with a 2.0-liter with 300 horsepower going in the Cayman and a 2.5 with 350 in the Cayman S.  Porsche says that's good enough to take the Cayman S from zero to 60 mph in 4 seconds and up to 177 mph. The standard car is no slouch, getting to 60 in as little as 4.5 seconds and up to 170. New brakes round out the mechanical changes, and the Porsche Active Suspension Management Sport suspension is now an option on the Cayman S. And as on the Boxster, the 718 Cayman gets catch-them-if-you-can changes over the previous model.
