Ken Block’s New Hoonicorn Is A 1400HP Twin-Turbo, Methanol-Sipping Monster
After releasing a short teaser video , Ken Block pulled the wraps off its evolved hooning machine based on a 1965 Ford Mustang, the Hoonicorn V2. The first iteration of the bespoke vehicle already was one of the craziest builds the world had seen, packing an one-off chassis with a 6.7-litre naturally aspirated V8 complete with 845hp transmitted to all four wheels. How do you top out a vehicle like this? With a pair of turbos of course and the kind help of methanol. The now methanol-sipping engine in the Version 2 is now force-fed by a custom twin-turbo setup, sending 21 pounds of boost into it.
