Aston Martin Valkyrie Gets AMR Track Performance Pack

Image
Aston Martin has confirmed reports that the road-legal Valkyrie hypercar will be available with an AMR Track Performance Pack. The British automaker has also detailed the personalization programme for the vehicle. As the name of the AMR Track Performance Pack suggests, it will make the road-legal Valkyrie that little bit faster on a racetrack but not quite rival the track-only Valkyrie AMR Pro. The performance pack includes a new aerodynamic front clam to improve downforce and efficiency, lightweight titanium brakes, matte black magnesium performance wheels, a carbon fiber aero wheel disk set, and track-focused suspension. Aston Martin says the alterations will make the Valkyrie roughly 8 per cent quicker than the standard model. Customers that opt for the AMR Track Performance Pack will also be provided with a second set of all exterior body panels. The track-only components can also be quickly interchanged with the road-legal parts. As you would expect from a hyperca...

Aston Martin Revives Iconic V600 Nameplate For Limited V12 Vantage

Aston Martin revived the iconic V600 nameplate for a special, limited-run V12 Vantage which will be produced by the company’s Q division. The new Aston Martin V12 Vantage V600 is a customer commission to the special division of the British manufacturer, set to be produced in 14 examples split between seven coupes and seven roadsters. The original V8 Vantage V600 was introduced in 1998 as the most extreme iteration of the Vantage lineup, establishing itself as one of the most powerful sports cars of its time. The new “Triple V” is based on the previous-generation Vantage and is described as the ultimate analogue Vantage. Power comes from a naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V12 with 600PS (592hp) paired to a seven-speed manual transmission. The suspension features three-stage adaptive dampers. “This is precisely why we created our ‘Q by Aston Martin – Commission’ service,” said Marek Reichman, Vice President & Chief Creative Officer Aston Martin. “Our customers can creat...

Aston Martin has decided to celebrating its ongoing partnership with Red Bull Racing by unveiling the new V8 and V12 Vantage Red Bull Racing Editions. Both vehicles have been created through Q by Aston Martin and will be delivered from the second quarter of this year. As is typical with special edition models like these, they are primarily distinguished from ‘ordinary’ Vantages by their paint schemes, this time featuring the Mariana blue, yellow and red combination used by the RBR Formula 1 team. If owners want something different, Tungsten Silver and satin Mariana blue are offered. Other special touches to the V8 and V12 Vantage Red Bull Racing Editions include a carbon fiber front splitter, carbon diffuser and carbon grille frame. The cabins of the two then have diamond-quilting, an alcantara steering wheel, carbon fiber trim and Red Bull Racing headrest embroidery. When ordering their vehicle, customers can also choose to have their sill and final inspection plaques signed ...

Image
The tailor-made Vantage GT12 Roadster is Aston Martin's most extreme open-top model ever thanks to its naturally aspirated 600 PS (591 HP) V12 and track-oriented chassis setup. It was conceived and delivered by 'Q by Aston Martin' over a nine month period and draws its origins from the Vantage GT12 Coupe version, adding the thrill of open-top driving and of course better access to the 6.0-liter V12's soundtrack. Just like  the Coupe , the Roadster features bespoke paint and trim, magnesium inlet manifolds with revised geometry, a lightweight magnesium torque tube, a full titanium exhaust system, carbon fiber body panels and an in-house developed suspension set-up. One of the reasons that makes the Vantage GT12 Roadster such an important car is the fact that this marks the first time a customer has been able to call upon the 'Q by Aston Martin' bespoke commission service to its full extent - which was previously only offered as a means to provide personalized ...
