Caterham 620R Lego Set Ready To Drive Off The Shelf
The appeal of the Caterham Seven is just how basic it is. The iconic design, you might say, is boiled down to its building blocks. But now Caterham is taking that idea a step further with a new Lego set. The latest crowd-sourced design from the famous Danish toy company replicates the Caterham 620R – one of the most hardcore iterations of Colin Chapman's original design to date. The proposal was submitted through the Lego Ideas platform by one Carl Greatrix and garnered the 10,000 votes necessary to put it into production and onto shelves at toy stores around the world. Now revealed in its final form, the kit is made up of more than 770 pieces and includes a removable nose cone, removable engine cover, opening trunk, detailed engine... even axle stands that allow the assembled model to be displayed with its wheels off.
