Henrik Fisker has taken to Twitter to tease an "exciting" new model which will be part of a "whole new segment." While the image only shows the upper half of the vehicle, it appears to a mobility shuttle in the form of an MPV. This further back up by the text in the model's window which shows a departure time and Fisker's hint that "the future of mobility will change forever." Fisker didn't elaborate but it's possible the vehicle will have an autonomous driving system so passengers can simply board the model and be whisked to their destination. That's not official at the moment but the upcoming Fisker EMotion will allow for "fully autonomous driving when approved and released by a soon-to-be-announced partnered supplier." Shortly after posting a number of teaser images on Twitter, Henrik Fisker has released a picture showing his newest creation, the EMotion, in full. The exterior design of the electric sedan is dramatically different and more refined than the vehicle depicted in renderings released last year. It features relatively short and rear overhangs and has a nose that angles down aggressively to the road. Elsewhere, the vehicle pictured rolls on a set of silver wheels, with doors and hidden door handles that seamlessly flow with the profile and shape of the model. Beyond its eye-catching design, Fisker is making some serious claims about its abilities and the technology found within. This includes the implementation of a hybrid supercapacitor, a quick-charge function that can offer 100 miles of range in just 9 minutes and all the hardware required for full autonomy. Henrik Fisker is preparing to unveil his latest creation after his Viper-based Force 1 debuted early last year. According to Business Insider, the latest vehicle from VLF Automotive will be dubbed the F1 Roadster and come with the same modified Viper 8.4-liter V10 engine as the Force 1. It is therefore expected to deliver an identical 745 hp. Like the Force 1 before it, the F1 Roadster will make use of a full carbon fiber body and apparently be capable of hitting 100 km/h (62 mph) in under 3 seconds before hitting a 337 km/h (210 mph) top speed. It is reported that the car will premiere at the Shanghai Auto Show next month and that VLF intends on putting it into limited production later this year.
