Ferrari has released the first official images of the hardcore 812 Superfast limited edition model, ahead of its full reveal on May 5. The name of the 812 Superfast’s new version will also be revealed on May 5, during a special live event that will be broadcasted on Ferrari’s social media channels. The hardcore new Ferrari is powered by the latest evolution of their naturally aspirated V12 engine, which here produces 818 HP, making it the most powerful road-car engine the carmaker has ever offered. In addition, this beast of an engine can rev up to an almost unbelievable 9,500 rpm, also making it the highest-revving road-legal Ferrari ever made. McLaren Beverly Hills has pulled the wraps off the limited edition Sabre. Created by McLaren Special Operations, the Sabre has been designed exclusively for the United States and this allowed the model to use “ideas and innovations that global homologation would not permit.” The company didn’t go into many specifics, but the car features a protruding nose and a prominent front splitter. There’s also a ventilated hood, slender headlights and unique ‘over fenders.’ Moving further back, we can see aerodynamic side skirts, a rakish windscreen and butterfly doors.  However, the Sabre is more notable for its distinctive rear cover and central fin which flows into a massive wing. Aston Martin is presenting the new V12 Speedster, a screen-less bespoke supercar designed to be an “uncompromising, visceral two-seater” for a few lucky customers. The new Aston Martin V12 Speedster draws inspiration from the company’s rich racing history and will be produced by the company’s Q division in just 88 examples, each priced at £765,000 ($1 million). Power comes from a twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 engine, which is tuned to produce 690 HP (700 PS) and 555 lb-ft (752 Nm) of torque. That’s enough firepower to send the new Aston Martin V12 Speedster from naught to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.5 seconds before hitting a limited top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h). McLaren continues to expand its Sports Series lineup with a new competition-inspired model called the 620R. Essentially a road-legal version of the 570S GT4 race car, the 620R is a limited-run coupé that will be built in just 350 units. As the name suggests, the 620R is the most powerful model in the Sports Series range. The M838TE 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine is shared with the GT4 car, but delivers more power as it’s not required to comply with racing regulations. Thus, it churns out 620 PS (612 HP) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque, enabling it to rocket from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 8.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 322 km/h (200 mph). Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera has used the Geneva Motor Show to introduce their new Sciàdipersia Cabriolet. Created as a follow up to last year’s Sciàdipersia Coupe, the convertible is based on the Maserati GranCabrio and features a handcrafted exterior with lightweight aluminum body panels and carbon fiber components. The model has a bit of retro vibe and Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera says the “sharp edges and flat surfaces revert to suggestions of elegant styles from the 1970s.” Regardless of how you feel about the design, the car is certainly unique and its rear end has stylish combination of soft curves and angled surfaces. The cabin largely carries over from the GranCabrio, but buyers can select their own trim and upholstery combinations. In the case of this particular car, the owner ordered chocolate leather with cream accents and orange contract stitching. Audi revealed the new limited Decennium edition of the R8 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the V10 engine that powers its supercar. Available solely as a coupe, the R8 V10 Decennium looks special from the get-go, thanks to its exclusive Daytona Gray paint finish and the milled matte-bronze 20-inch wheels. The intake manifold of the engine is also finished in the same bronze hue, while exterior features such as the front spoiler, the side sills and the diffuser are painted gloss black. The side blades and exterior door mirror housings are made out of gloss carbon fiber. Inside we get an entirely black cabin, featuring inlays of carbon fiber and a diamond-quilted stitching pattern for the seats. Contrast stitching in gloss copper can be found on the gear selector and the steering wheel, which also comes with a black 12 o’clock marking. Bugatti will blow 110 candles off their birthday cake this year, and they’re celebrating it by introducing the new Chiron Sport 110 Ans Edition. Based on the Sport version of the hypercar, this limited edition will be produced in just to 20 units. All of them will feature a matte Steel Blue paintwork with matching, exposed carbon fiber elements, and trimmings in the colors of the French national flag. The Chiron Sport 110 Ans Edition also rides on Nocturne matte black alloy wheels, with the French Racing Blue-finished brake calipers visible behind them. While all the lights are, rightfully, focused on Toyota’s brand-new (and long awaited) GR Supra, Lexus has just unveiled the 2020 Lexus RC F only hours before the opening of the Detroit Auto Show. The revamped RC F features redesigned headlights with stacked LEDs and integrated DRLs, a revised grille with a lower lip opening that stretches across the bottom, a reshaped rear bumper and new taillights. In addition to the cleaner exterior look, the 2020 RC F has a retuned suspension, with new steering rack mounts and stiffer bushings at the rear. It also has more rigid engine mounts as well, in addition to a weight reduction obtained by installing hollow half shafts at the rear, a smaller air conditioning compressor and aluminum toe control brackets and upper suspension support brackets. Lincoln has officially brought back suicide doors, or coach doors, albeit in a limited edition version of the Continental. Baptized the Lincoln Continental 80th Anniversary Coach Door Edition, it will be put together in just 80 units for the 2019MY, with a limited number to arrive the following year as well. All of them benefit from 90-degree opening rear doors, which facilitate ingress and egress, as well as an electronic door system that makes entry and exit effortless and quiet. Thanks to the extra 6 inches (15.24 cm) added to the wheelbase, it also delivers best-in-class legroom at the back, on the two individual seats, according to the automaker. The Aston Martin DBS Supeleggera lineup is growing as the company has taken the wraps off the limited edition DBS 59. Commissioned by Aston Martin Cambridge, the series of 24 cars pay tribute to the DBR1 that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1959. Created by Aston Martin’s Q division, the DBS 59 features an assortment of styling cues which recall the iconic race car. Chief among them is a racing green paint job that is contrasted by gloss carbon fiber trim. The car also has a number of bronze accents on the grille, spoiler and wheels. Speaking of the latter, they are backed up by a high-performance braking system with bronze calipers. Moving into the cabin, drivers will find a mix of obsidian black and chestnut tan leather as well as with “fabric inspired by the DBR1 seat material.” Elsewhere, there’s racing green accents, bronze flourishes and embroidered backrests with the “DBS 59” logo.
