The Redmi K30 Pro and K30 Pro Zoom are here, after weeks of teasers and speculations. They bring a radically different design compared to the K30 and K30 5G with a pop-up selfie camera and quad rear shooters housed in a circular setup. As expected they also come with the flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset, complete with X55 modem for 5G connectivity and larger 4,700 mAh batteries. In fact, the two K30 Pro versions are identical save for one of the cameras on the back. The 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display comes without any cutouts as it brings back the motorized pop-up solution for the 20MP selfie cam. The panel comes with a built-in fingerprint scanner and a 20:9 aspect ratio but its refresh rate is stuck at 60Hz. The Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro are finally official with four cameras apiece and Snapdragon 865. Both phones support wireless charging and are the first Mi branded devices with a punch hole in the display for the selfie camera. Their headline feature is on the back though - the 108MP sensor as first seen on the Mi Note 10. They also come will great connectivity support - going all the way to SA and NSA 5G and Wi-Fi 6. Late last year Xiaomi president Lin Bin teased an upcoming phone with a 48-megapixel camera, and today the company has revealed it in full. Despite the eye-catching headline spec, it’s turned out to be a product under the entry-level Redmi brand called the Redmi Note 7. Design-wise, it looks very similar to Xiaomi’s smaller, low-cost Mi Play announced a few weeks back, with a circular display notch, a back panel with colorful gradients, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and rear-facing dual cameras — one of which uses that much-vaunted 48-megapixel image sensor and an f/1.8 lens, the other of which is 5 megapixels and used for depth information. The camera can take photos with its 48 million tiny 0.8-micron pixels in good lighting, or combine neighboring pixels for what’s claimed to be the equivalent of a 12-megapixel photo taken with larger 1.6-micron pixels.
