New Mitsubishi Delica Concept Leaks Before Tokyo Motor Show


Prior to October’s 2017 Tokyo Motor Show, images of the bold new Mitsubishi Delica Concept have leaked online.

Indian Autos Blog reports that the next-generation Delica is based on the same platform as the Mitsubishi Outlander and will come standard with the company’s Super All Wheel Control system.


What’s immediately noticeable about the Delica is that its design is very similar to the new Mitsubishi Xpander, but like the outgoing Delica, it adopts a more rugged design better suited for off-road use.


For example, the front includes a prominent skid plate and a set of large circular fog lights. The ride height also appears slightly higher than the Xpander's, and the roofline makes the vehicle much more rectangular than its sibling. This is most obvious with the vertical rear window, roof racks and large third-row side windows.

Power for the model will reportedly come from a 2.2-liter turbocharged diesel, delivering 170 PS (167 HP) and around 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque.

2018 Peugeot 508 Officially Reveals Its Slick Fastback Bodystyle

It’s no secret that, like all non-premium manufacturers today, Peugeot has had a hard time cracking the sedan segment, as buyers are not just edging, but frantically running towards SUVs and crossovers of all shapes and sizes. Nonetheless, the French brand is giving it another go with a more dynamic interpretation of its mid-size saloon. This time, the 508 has dropped its predecessor’s traditional boot-lid four-door figure for a sleeker and at the same time, more practical, fastback bodystyle. Peugeot describes the 2018 508 as combining “a bold new low coupé design with the enhanced practicality of five doors” and calls it “a five-door fastback coupé-saloon”. Facelifted 2021 Mercedes-AMG E53 Finally Brings A Drift Mode

The 2021 Mercedes-AMG E53 has been unveiled in both sedan and Wagon bodystyles alongside the latest facelifted E-Class and E-Class All-Terrain. Unlike the All-Terrain, the E53 Wagon might not be coming Stateside. Slotting under the E63, which has yet to be uncovered in its latest form, the E53 soldiers on with the same 48v mild-hybrid powertrain as the outgoing model, which replaced the old E43 two years ago. Power comes from a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six engine, which develops 435 PS (429 HP / 320 kW) and 520 Nm (384 lb-ft) of torque.
