Subaru Levorg STi Wagon Heading To Production
Subaru is prepping a hot STi version of their Levorg wagon, with the announcement being made through a teaser video.
Showing the car's front with LED headlamps and an "STi" badge set on the grille, the teaser also reveals a summer launch for the high-performance Levorg in Japan, with no mention of availability in other markets. An official presentation could me made over the next few weeks.
The Subaru Levorg STi was previewed by the Levorg S Concept, introduced last year at the Tokyo Auto Salon, with a multitude of STi parts, including new bumpers on both ends, different grille, redesigned side skirts, front fender air vents, carbon fiber-made roof and side mirror caps, and 19-inch forged BBS rims, wrapped in 245/35 Michelin PSS rubber.
Inside, the study adopted bucket seats, part-Alcantara flat-bottom steering wheel, aluminum pedals, red accents and a push-start button. Other mods included a specially tuned suspension, while power came from a 2.0-liter turbocharged boxer engine, with an undisclosed output, connected to a six-speed manual gearbox, driving all four wheels. However, its production version could get the 2.5-liter turbo unit, with 305 HP, from the WRX STi
