Facelifted Alfa Romeo Giulietta Leaked Ahead of Its Official Debut

Alfa Romeo’s updated Giulietta compact hatch has leaked ahead of its official unveiling at next week's Geneva Motor Show where it will join the lesser Giulia models.

As we can see from these images, courtesy of AlfaTipo949, and which are believed be part of a presentation leaflet, the changes between the outgoing variant and the new model are limited to the revised headlamps and taillights, a reprofiled bumper, and a few tweaks here and there made to emphasize its sporty character.

Speaking of sportiness, the new Giulietta won’t bear the Quadrifoglio moniker anymore (this being reserved for Alfa Romeo’s best), but instead will be available in the Veloce trim (the white model pictured); a variant that will most likely feature the same 1.75-litre turbocharged four-banger as the former QV.

Still, even though Giulietta’s top-spec variant remains the same mechanical-wise, the change in name comes with a slight change in style as well. Don’t expect something drastic, as Alfa Romeo thought a minute redesigned front fascia is enough to keep the hot hatch relevant for the following years.
