2018 Lexus NX 300h Facelift Enjoys Price Cut Despite New Tech

Prices for the facelifted 2018 Lexus NX have just been uncovered by Cars Direct and surprisingly, prices for the most premium model have decreased.

Those looking to get the keys to a 2018 NX 300h will need to part with at least $39,330, a decent drop from the $40,715 starting price of the 2017 model. What’s more, buyers of the 2018 car will enjoy a host of mechanical and technological improvements over the outgoing model.

For example, the range-topping NX 300h includes the brand’s Safety System+ as standard and also benefits from improved suspension components to make the bold SUV more capable than ever before.

At the vehicle’s April debut, Lexus said there were retuned springs, stabilizer bars and bushings which allow for enhanced turn-in response and better cornering. Ride comfort is then improved courtesy of revised shock absorbers.

From a visual standpoint, the 2018 NX can be differentiated from previous model years due to a series of incremental visual changes. These tweaks include a revised spindle front grille, different headlights and taillights, chrome-tipped exhausts and for the NX 300h, chrome L-shaped elements on the rear bumper.
